Cast Announcement #1
Slated Cinema is excited and proud to cast Nathan Masco and Jocelyn Hoagland as the leads to our debut film "MayDay!"
Jocelyn (As Kienna) - Jocelyn Hoagland is a vocal performance major with a concentration in Opera in her Sophomore year at The University of Connecticut. She also focuses strongly on choral participation, piano and vocal jazz at UConn.
She lives and grew up in Willimantic Connecticut, she began playing piano at age 5 and continued through grade and high school into college. She began singing lessons at age 12, continued through high school and is now in college for music. A 2018 graduate of Arts at The Capitol Theater Magnet High School, Jocelyn majored in acting through all four years. Having started participating in musicals at age 10, Jocelyn boasts a long resume of musicals and acting workshops from 2010-2018. Shifting gears from acting as she transitioned to music school.
Nathan (As Brad) - Nathan Masco is a Junior at Plainville High School, he enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, especially soccer and track and has lived his entire life in Plainville.
Nathan started his acting and modeling career in 2018 and has been pursuing his dream working with some talented people. He’s has been working for Hasbro (Nerf) since March of 2019 on advertisements, videos and commercials and continues to work with this amazing company. Nathan has done PSA announcements/commercials for CT Treasury Department (CHET) and worked for DreamCaster on an anti-school shooting commercial. Nathan has also been an extra on Blindspot and has recently made a piano video for a teach yourself piano app. Some other experiences Nathan has is playing the piano and working behind the scenes at his school shows and events doing filming, lighting and sound.
