One day, while minding my business and trying to support other small businesses, I came across a post that said "I'm matching energy today." 👀
Initially, I was like, "you right, you right," 🤦🏽♀️ but then, I had to rethink what I was agreeing to.
Be mindful of the energy you trying to match; it could cost you or someone else EVERYTHING!
While you're out here matching energy, you're missing out on blessings and favor.
While you're out here matching energy, you're being the worst role model for those who are looking up to you (now, down at you 👎🏽).
While you're out here matching energy, you could be mistaking someone's cry for help.
So, instead of matching energy, continue to be the bright light that you are and allow others the opportunity to rise to meet your energy! Your smile, gentle heart, and understanding could be the difference in life and death.

God shows up in ways you couldn't imagine.
The way He has shown up in my life is evident of my faith, obedience (even when I question the actions and sometimes delay), and determination to do what I'm called to do.
He will hush all the noise around you.
He will silence all the chaos in your life.
He will move the mountains out of your way AND give you the strength to climb.
It all starts with how you show up, speak, and believe.
👉🏽 Show up with an expectation that He will meet you and have prepared the next steps for you.
👉🏽 Speak up with words of positivity. (No more negative self-talk.)
👉🏽 Believe that whatever you desire, you will have when you put Him first.

Since this is still a thing, I want to help a few ladies today:
Stop comparing yourself to others!
Please understand that the woman you're comparing yourself to is probably busy comparing herself, her life & possessions to someone else.
You don't know what that other woman is going through or has gone through to be where she is. You don't know the hell she had to endure, the compromises, the shifts and pivots, the sacrifices, the NOs she has gotten, the MAYBEs she never saw into fruition, the tears and late nights she stayed up making sure her responsibilities were fulfilled. You wouldn't want to go through half the hell she has, so stop comparing what she has or is doing to your life.
You were made and have gifts, talents, and a beautiful life within that's waiting on you to stop showing up as the representative, but just as you.
Stop looking to others to be who you already are.
And just be.

Somebody is going through something right now and needs to hear a word of encouragement. Let this be that.
There's a message in whatever you're going through. It may seem as if the world is closing in on you; it may seem as if you've lost everything you had; it may even seem as if everyone has turned their backs on you.
Just know that there's always a MESSAGE through our MESS, but we must have the faith and be willing to walk through the mess so that we can deliver the message.
I will never say that it's going to be easy, but it's easier when you understand your life has a purpose and everything you do and go through is for your purposed life.
🤎 And if no one else has told you today or in a while, let me be the first to say "I love you and want the best for you."

This seems to be the hardest thing to do... to keep forgiving.
Nowadays, we rely on our own thinking based on what society has made us believe, "You do me wrong, I'm done with you." or "I'm not a fool to keep believing and forgiving you every time you hurt me."
Thank God He is not like man. 🙌🏽
🗣 God says to forgive, even if they wrong you seven times.
(Luke 17:4 KJV)
We have to understand that forgiveness does not mean that we agree with the wrong, it means that we will not hold a grudge against others for the wrong they've done.
Holding on to past wrongs and not forgiving does not help us; in fact, it causes more harm to our mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly, it causes us to not be in God's grace. If we want God to constantly forgive us for the things we constantly do and repent for, we must be willing to do the same.
So, learn to forgive and let go, even if it keeps happening over and over.

Listen...I know that I'm not the only one who has had ill feelings towards someone who has done me wrong. Then, as I try to get myself together and calm down, I am reminded that I must still love them, bless them, do good to them, and pray for them?? 😔 As humans, we get in our feelings and will stay for a long time; however, because I want to see God when all of "this" is over, I will love you, bless you, do good to you, and pray for you... even when my flesh wants me to do the opposite.
