For the past couple of months, I have been intentional about SOUL CARE, the prioritization of our mental and emotional wellness through the development of supportive rituals, resources, and routines.

Much of this work has been facilitated within my online writing community as we have been exploring writing as an effective strategy to promote self-awareness, healing, and wholeness.
Creating space to allow my SOUL to REST has created space for so much more in my life.

My relationships are fuller.

My mind is clearer.

I have more peace. More joy. More energy.

I no longer feel pressured to pretend to be okay, because it truly is well with my soul.

I no longer feel compelled to chase after things--love, acceptance, significance, purpose, meaning, abundance, because they flow effortlessly to me.

Tomorrow is the last day of our SOUL CARE series, and I really want you to experience the same sort of healing so many of us already have, but it's up to you.

Saturday was mind-blowing!!!

These are some of the words that we walked away with after Saturday's Soul Care Writing Workshop.

For the past 6 months, a community of like-minded women has gathered in a virtual space to write and share together. It's been amazing. We've cried together. We've laughed together. We've encouraged one another, but last Saturday? Last Saturday was different!

Last Saturday, each of us went on a journey. A journey that began with some of our most painful truths and we ended that journey with a vision of freedom (and some amazing short, creative fiction stories).

Sometimes, I sit back at the close of our sessions and think, "Wow, Jessica! What have you created?!"

Throughout the months of September and October, the Writing For My Life writing community will be exploring writing as an effective tool for soul care -the prioritization of our mental and emotional wellness through the development of supportive rituals, resources, and routines.

Growing up, I HATED my nose. It was hands down what I considered to be my worst feature. As I matured, I learn to embrace all of me including what I considered to be my flaws, but as I HEALED, I saw the beauty in them. Now, I love my nose so much I bought it some jewelry.

Sometimes we confuse MATURITY for HEALING. Just because your tolerance for something has increased does not automatically indicate that deliverance has taken place.

Once you begin to pursue healing with RECKLESS
ABANDON, you’ll begin to for your life. More love. More peace. More confidence. More grace for yourselves and others.
