It all started with one podcast...
I am a huge fan of podcasts or at least now I am. I used to think podcasts were for losers, until my father introduced me to the real podcasts. My perception of podcasts was changed, it was no longer what one wannabe-radio host records in his or her closet, It was the future of media consumption!
No that I had the correct perception of podcasts, I started writing. I wrote and wrote and wrote. I wrote dozens of podcasts scripts and read them to myself at night. I practiced my radio announcer voice which was hard for a teen who’s voice was always changing. The day came where I finally sat down and wrote a script which I would record myself reading. I did it! I was officially a podcaster.
Fed up and tired of having tech reviews for some adult who’s sponsored to say great things about a product, I signed up for a YouTube channel. I reviewed products from a teens perspective, someone on a budget looking for a cool phone. The channel grew and the rest is history.
