For the past decade or more Bob Falconer has devoted himself full-time to IFS work (Internal Family Systems Therapy). In that time he has attended all levels of IFS training offered, and has been a program assistant more than 18 times.
Bob has been at many workshops and events with Richard Schwartz both as assistant and participant. In addition to studying with many of the other senior IFS trainers, He also co-authored a book with Richard Schwartz entitled, Many Minds, One Self. For all of his therapeutic work, both professional and personal, Bob now uses IFS almost exclusively.
Before this Bob used and explored many forms of therapy, starting with Ericksonian hypnotherapy which he studied with Carol Erickson. He received his master’s degree and hypnotherapist certificate under her tutelage. Then he met and began studying with Jack and Helen Watkins, the creators of Ego State Therapy.
Before beginning his graduate work, starting in 1971, Bob was involved with the Esalen Institute where he has attended more than 120 events and workshops. At Esalen Bob met and worked with many of the leaders of the human potential movement and focused on Gestalt Therapy mainly with Mariah Fenton Gladys and Christine Price. In the 80s and 90s Bob also studied codependency and addictions with Pia Mellody.
Julia Caruana is the owner of and primary supervisor at Bethesda Counseling Services in Bethesda, MD. She was born and raised in Madrid, Spain and has been living in the US since 2006. Almost 20 years later, she is a mom of 4, married for almost 10 years and is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist, although she retired as a therapist a year ago and now devotes her time to running her group practice. She has a wonderful team of 20 therapists that offer individual and family therapy to couples, children and families.

Dr. Julie Bindeman graduated from the George Washington University and is the co-owner of Integrative Therapy of Greater Washington in Rockville, Maryland. Her specialty is in the field of Reproductive Psychology, where she actively writes, lectures, and presents. She is a consultant in training in EMDR through EMDRIA. She has served on several committees within the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and was just elected to its Executive Committee. She served as a former Board Member of the Maryland Psychological Association for over 10 years. Dr. Bindeman is a member of multiple organizations focused on Maternal and Reproductive Mental Health and was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve on the Maternal Mental Health Task Force. She was recently awarded the Karl Heiser Award for her legislative efforts on behalf of psychology. Dr. Bindeman has published several chapters and articles pertaining to Reproductive Psychology.

Gerhard Grieb was born into a refugee family from Eastern Europe, emigrating into Germany in 1946, the year he was born, and into the US in 1956. After completing public education in the Philadelphia suburbs, he attended college for 2 years when he was drafted into the Army. He served 1 year in Vietnam and then returned to finish his BA. He went on to get a Master's at U of Md. and dropped out of the PhD program in 1977 to begin working for the Postal Service. He served as VP and editor of the Letter Carrier's local until then switched to become an Electronic Technician. He was married in 1970, divorced in 1980 then remarried to the same woman in 1982 to the present. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009 and retired at that time. He lived in Takoma Park from 1973 until 1987 and has lived in Sandy Spring since.
Victoria is an integrative psychotherapist and IFS therapist, specialising in sex and relationships, and working with individuals and couples in London. She has specialised in sex and sexuality through most of her career, first working in public health roles and then moving into therapeutic work. After working in a central London sexual health clinic in which she coordinated a small, specialist counselling service she moved into her private practice full time. Victoria has an advanced accreditation as a gender, sexuality and relationships diversities therapist and loves working with all clients, including those who identify as queer as well as those exploring different relationship structures such as non-monogamy.

Nina Tracy is a marriage and family therapist in practice for 9 years and counting. Jessica is a self-described multi-potentialite and at the age of 39, still isn’t sure what she wants to do when she grows up. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder’s business school (business school is the worst!), Jessica went to Mongolia as a Fulbright scholar and worked with Mongolia’s nomadic reindeer herders. (She is not that cool anymore.) She then returned to the US, moved to DC, applied to law school, had a mental breakdown, and did what many in their late 20s/early 30s do when they have a quarter life crises, she fled to graduate school. Jessica received an MS in conservation and international development from the University of Montana in Missoula. She moved to Denver in the hopes of getting a sweet job in international conservation; But she didn’t. Instead Jessica owns Green Lady Gardens, a houseplant and pottery boutique in Denver. It's good for now but it's not forever.
