Spanky will be screening online Nov 26-30 as part of the 7th annual Official Latino Film and Arts Festival sponsored by HBO. Three lucky projects from the festival will be selected to screen on HBOMAX. Whaaaaat!
Not only that, the festival will be screening the first 30 minutes of Spanky, giving you footage which has never been screened before.

Big news this morning! is an official selection at the 7th annual Official Latino Film and Arts Festival sponsored by HBO. For a third year in a row, HBO has partnered with the festival, via the HBO Latinx Short Film competition, to coordinate 3 licenses from their screening films. That means 3 lucky winners will get a license for their film to be showcased on HBO and HBOMAX. Our cast and crew couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this festival and get the chance to network with some heavy hitters.

Meet “The Kid”… Rocco Leins. Spanky’s foul mouthed 10-year-old neighbor. Hobbies include striking matches, shooting nerf bullets at the apartment managers’s cat, and getting under Spanky’s skin. For all of you coming out to the Spanky] screening, please join us afterward at Jameson’s Irish Pub down the street (walking distance) from the Chinese Theatre. Our friend, Wheelz, was gracious enough to reserve the back room for us, and aka Spanky will be there in person for fist bumps, photos, and autographs.
Quick note about parking for Chinese theatre. If you’re heading west on Hollywood blvd off Highland, make a right on Orange and park in the 2nd parking structure on your right hand side. That structure will take you straight into Hollywood and Highland and your first four hours of parking is redeemable at the Chinese Theatre. Don’t forget to have those cell phones charged so you can vote!
