USA Warrior Stories: Florida airs today on TV 30-1 at 6:00pm and again at 10:00pm. Jim Cady was drafted three weeks before Pearl Harbor. As a navigator, he flew more than 30 missions over Italy before being transferred to England to support D-Day. Viewers will meet two other local veterans and hear their stories of bravery and perseverance. The show is a Rowlinson Media production.

Remember the horrible incident with the 26 dogs and puppies that were piled into a small wire crate and abandoned on a dirt road, without food, water or shelter? They're ready for adoption and you can have a chance at adopting one of these adorable pups.

Due to the high demand for the dogs, a chance drawing for APPOINTMENTS will be held starting today, May 6 and ending Friday, May 7 at 3pm.

Please DO NOT CALL OR WALK-IN.

Participants will be randomly selected for an appointment to adopt a dog.

Selected participants will be notified by one of our adoption counselors via phone after the chance drawing has ended.

Participants will be randomly selected by software. Please DO NOT CALL and ask if you have been selected.

Each selected participant will meet with an adoption counselor and all dogs will be micro-chipped, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered.

When will I know if I'm selected to adopt a dog?

Those randomly selected to adopt will be notified by an adoption counselor via phone after the chance drawing has ended. Please DO NOT CALL and ask if you have been selected. Names will not be published due to privacy.

Can I see or visit the dogs?

We are not accepting walk-ins and you must sign up online. Dogs are still being prepared for adoption. They will be on-site for selected adopters to meet on appointment day. You cannot place a hold on any of the dogs.
