Today my mom, Cill TheBreeze, turns 65. This was her one year ago. As many of you now know, she has been waging a three year battle with liver failure & a lifetime of chronic back pain. She did not like to talk about it, she always put her best face forward and was always smiling. She never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her.
When we found out she was dying in late 2021, I did everything in my power to try to give her a better life and make the time count as much as possible. I took her to all her favorite places & tried to dote on her as much as possible. I was even able to finally get her the apartment of her dreams a month ago, but sadly she will not be able to enjoy it any longer. We just ran out of time.
She is now being kept asleep in hospice to prevent her from being in unimaginable pain. Her body can no longer fight against the toxins that are building up in her bloodstream. She is not suffering, but we do not know how long she will remain with us. All we can do now is send her as many messages as we can in the hopes that her spirit will hear us.
