AI? Data breach? Cyber Security?

Does your head swim when you hear these words?

Were you watching and listening last week as Crowdstrike, an independent cybersecurity company, released a software update that began effecting IT systems globally...namely airport software went down and airports were full of passengers without the ability to send planes out safely.

Incident's such as this are infrequent however they can shut down airports, as we learned, and wreak havoc in our IT ecosystem.

I'm guessing JMark's owner, Tom Douglas, could weigh in on what happened as his company here in Springfield, is known for innovative IT services for companies of all sizes. Listen in on Wednesday and meet Tom!

As we wrap up our series on travel, we'd like to remind you there are soooo many interesting places to visit right here in the good ol' USA. When we recently asked where you'd most like to visit, most of you said somewhere abroad. We get it. We like to visit those places too! But there is something to be said for that windows down, radio turned up, carefree feeling of a road trip that takes you across our great country. 🚗 Wherever your travels take you, may you always remember there's no place quite like home!

Meditation is a form of self care that is often misunderstood. Meditation is basically the quieting of the mind. It is not the absence of thought. It is putting the thoughts that float through your mind in a bucket. Meditation can be 2 min while sitting in your car or 15 min sitting cross legged on your yoga mat. It is as individual as eye color. The key is to be still and listen. Recently we heard a great description. Prayer is when you ask for things, Meditation is when you listen for the answer.

Recently, I had an early 6 am yoga session while on vacation, thanks Alicia Epps. I've never practiced on the beach before...talk about an amazing place to stretch, breath and get back to your "self care"!

Did you catch yesterday's episode with Angela Crawford? The issue of infertility is more prevalent than you may think. Even if you don't think you know anyone who has had these challenges, what if it's just that they have never shared that? This is deeply personal and it stands to reason that couples going through this might not be vocal about it. Maybe they are dealing with it secretly. We just never know. Take the opportunity to educate yourself now so that if you or someone you love is faced with this in the future, maybe you'll have some insight or you can share this episode with them. There is support and community for those effected.

How many of you who have children have had to go on medication, seek specialists, have many tests done, drive hundreds of miles to have blood draws, injections, even maybe Invitro fertilization? And we know some have not had success after many attempts....

You are not alone. Listen to Angela Crawford tell her story and share this podcast with a friend. After her experience, she wanted to share her experience with others so THEY would know they weren't alone. She did this by starting a local support group.
