I thank God every single day for the ways he’s blessed our small tribe. Summer nights at the local ice cream shop have come to an end and we now look at back to school events, hockey, homework, soccer, youth group, preschool, car pool lines and much more. Bird hunting is around the corner and the dogs are itching to get after it. As a bird hunter and dad to 6 kids, each new season looks slightly different and calendars tend to get full. A couple days out on the prairie will do the soul some good.

Never did I think that this podcast that I started in a literal closet would take off like it has. I had so many doubts in my head about staring one. I had every excuse to say, never mind, the podcast world didn’t need another bird dog podcast. I’m an introvert! There was and still is other great content creators out there who are doing way better than me. What do I know, I’m fairly new to this myself.

But over the past 2 years I’ve been blown away with the level of engagement I’ve received from listeners and have been so encouraged the more I talk with y’all. I’ve been learning right alongside many of you from men and woman I truly respect in this space.

A big thank you to my guests I’ve had the privilege of interviewing, you truly have made this show what it is today and your level of knowledge has been so valuable. I can’t thank you enough!

Thank you all for following along on this journey and for supporting this show. Incredibly grateful to each and every one of you and I’m still pretty shocked that we hit the 200K download mark almost to the day of the two year anniversary.
