I’m VERY excited to share my first promo video for a local band, and to tell you all to go see BIG LOVE | GREG Coats Birthday Party @ The Alley & Fuel BBQ in Sanford tomorrow night at 8 PM! I’ve been to three of their shows already and had the privilege of watching some of their rehearsal last night, and they’re so amazing. Please share far and wide!

It’s been five years since I made this very simple 59-second video about what those hash lines are for next to accessible parking spaces. It came up in my Facebook memories, but when I share those, very few people see it, and for my community, this is a critical message. In that time, it has been viewed literally millions of times and shared by thousands of people. I encourage you to please watch and share and help spread the word!

Dating as a wheelchair user in my 40s has been…challenging, lol. Fortunately, as a contributing editor, New Mobility magazine decided to ask me to write a feature article sharing my somewhat unique experience in this regard. Read on for all the sordid details! 😂

Dating as a woman of a certain age can be fun, despite all the inappropriate wheelchair-related questions.

It’s so crazy how all of my crazy career twists and turns are coming together now. I never thought that my wheelchair travel, videography, travel agent, and voiceover experience would wrap up into the package I’m currently living for two amazing mobility companies, WHILL US and Scootaround. I made this video recently as a part of a workshop to help travel agents better serve clients with mobility limitations. I’m so proud and excited to be here! 😊❤️♿️

These photos I’m sharing are something a bit different for me.
I use a large rehab-style power wheelchair only when I’m at home. I also have a roll-in shower, and have to use one every time I travel. Both make me feel extremely powerless, vulnerable, and weak.
These photos are a sneak preview of a photo shoot I did to try and take that power back.
Final edited pics to come in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

SO excited to be part of this short by a local Orlando filmmaker that got picked up by four film festivals! Even better, I’m both on screen in my WHILL US Ci2 and off screen yelling in Cuban accented Spanish. 😂🇨🇺

I am eyeball deep in editing my documentary about wheelchair users who dream at night that they can walk, even if they were born disabled. SO excited that Walking Dreams made the news, and that you can see me in my WHILL US Ci2!

I haven’t put on these headphones or been in front of this microphone since May. It’s almost strange putting in all the connectors, hitting all the buttons, and opening up all the programs. But oh my God, does it feel good.

I’ve spent the last two days filming the most incredible wheelchair users for my documentary, ‘Walking Dreams.’ They were generous enough to open their hearts to me and describe their sleep dreams in which they can walk – and run, hike, swim, and even jump out of airplanes. I’ve learned so much about these amazing people, and this was an even more rewarding experience than I could’ve imagined. Here are some behind-the-scenes shots, and I can’t wait to start the editing process to put all of this together!

T-12 hours until I start my first stint as a documentary film director. This is me trying to strike the right balance between terror and excitement. 😂

OMG. I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but a couple of months ago I submitted the script for my animated short film to the Orlando international film Festival. I just found out that it’s an official selection. OMG. 😱
