For those of you with elderly loved ones in a facility of some type (nursing home, ALF, etc.) and were in the path of that big snowstorm, how is the facility managing? I (Steve) just talked to my mother and she is pretty pleased. She said staffing is at about 75% but things were running fairly smoothly. That's always my big concern is that weather will get REALLY bad and no one can make it to work to take care of the residents. It hadn't snowed more than a dusting for three years here, so it's not something that's come up.

We have an all new episode coming out next Tuesday, and we'll be talking with a guest about the sibling rivalries that can sometimes crop up over caregiving. Don't miss it!

Program note: We typically release every two weeks. Since two weeks after next Tuesday is Christmas Eve, and then the Tuesday after that is New Year's Eve, we're going to skip an episode. Our next show will come out on January 7. Take this opportunity to go back and listen to any episodes you missed. Remember, if you haven't heard it, it's new to you! :)

Coming tomorrow, an all new CGS! The topic is all of the legal documents that can help you and your elderly loved one. Despite the semi-dry topic, we actually had a lot of fun with this one, going off on a ton of "squirrel" tangents, including answering the question of who will get this cat cookie jar (which Jennifer refers to as a nightmare) in our will. Don't miss it!
