Here in Bonnie Brae resides a precious gem that has stolen the hearts of her proud family, Vanna, the 8-year-old Golden Retriever. 💖 Vanna joined the Cureton-Cecil clan from Glacier Goldens in Eckert, CO and they love the sweetness and charm she exudes. “She is such a good, sweet girl!” gushes Kristine. Adaptation to city life was seamless and Vanna has become a beloved companion to three grandchildren, basking in their affection and returning it in kind! The play is a bilingual story with a fully Hispanic/Latin(x) cast, including the play’s Director, Matthew Zambrano. Mark your calendar for public performances which will take place on February 11, 18, and 25 at 10 a.m. 📚

In the summer of 2022, a beloved institution bid farewell to 88 years of memories as the Bonnie Brae Tavern closed its doors. To capture the essence of this iconic tavern, Stroll Bonnie Brae had the privilege of sitting down with Michael Dire, the past co-owner, to reminisce about the enduring legacy of the beloved Bonnie Brae Tavern. 🍻

💬 “It was part of my life from the moment I was born,” he reflected. “I worked at King Soopers for 11 years, always knowing the tavern would be a part of my life. The time was right after my grandfather passed away, and my father and uncle, feeling their age, brought me into the business as a manager.” - Michael Dire
