Dominic stopped by my booth at the Huntley Farmers Market yesterday with his sweet mama. He was very deliberate in his selections and laid down to properly inspect them before making his choice. 🥰. Thank you for visiting and I hope you love your new book!

Do you have any traditions when you go on vacation? Or do you collect any particular item from each location you visit - coffee cups, key chains, etc? My personal tradition is to find at least one locally owned bookstore to peruse, usually for a few hours at a time, and to then select and purchase a book about the area in which we are staying or visiting. I’ve amassed quite the travel book collection and now I’ve asked my husband to build me a full adjustable travel wall in our home comparable to the current installation at Barnes & Noble. Lucky for me, he’s amazing and is willing to do it! 🥰. Here is the picture I showed him as my inspiration piece.

What do you get as vacation souvenirs? Anything?

Tomorrow (Sat 7/23) at the Huntley Farmers Market, we'll be celebrating Christmas in July! It's supposed to be ridiculously hot and I can't decide if that's completely appropriate or totally ironic! LOL!

Farmers market season is upon us! Tomorrow (Wednesday) I’ll be in Campton Hills from 8am-1pm and then at Niko’s Grill & Pub in Marengo from 3pm-8pm. It’s going to be a fun (and busy) day! Come out and see all the vendors at both locations.

I have a farmers market booth in Huntley today and I was helping a gentleman find a book for a 2 year-old little girl coming to visit him soon. We chatted a bit and he decided on Water Wonders On The Farm. A short time later he stopped just before my booth and was digging around in his wallet. I saw him and teasingly said “oh, you’ve come back to visit me!”. He handed me this card and said thank you for all of your help. 🥰. This simple gesture totally made my day. We need more people like him in this world!!
