11-year-old child takes grandma's car for a joyride... AGAIN! Just days after crashing his dad's truck into multiple vehicles while trying to get to McDonald's, the same 11-year-old has struck again - this time taking his grandma's car to HEB at Kostoryz and Gollihar.

Officers are on the scene, and citations will be issued to the grandma. CPS will also be notified.

77-year-old Johnny Canales is a legend in South Texas for over 40 years. He was the star of "The Johnny Canales Show" until he met a 30-year-old younger woman named "Nora" who demanded his show be called "El Show de Johnny y Nora Canales Show".

It was Nora Canales herself who did a video describing her husbands health as quote "delicate" and complained that she was exhausted from taking care of him. Crónica insiders know that Johnny had a massive stroke and quadruple bypass, which required a long rehabilitation over many years. After the stroke, Nora propelled herself by making the show "The Johnny y Nora Canales Show," which was disseminated after they lost their TV studio deal.

The flamboyant Nora, who is 30 years younger, is taking to her Tik Tok page, claiming that Johnny is not ill and says the Crónica spread the rumor, according to a KRIS 6 News article today. The Crónica has received numerous reports, and we stand by our accurate report that Johnny Canales is gravely ill, and Nora's video proves our point. The Crónica gives no shade to the 30 years younger Nora Canales. In fact, to each their own, but when it comes to the legend, Johnny Canales, also known as "The Mexican Johnny Carson," The Crónica will double down asking for prayers!

Two Corpus Christi High School Seniors Missing Since May 9th - Abel Hernandez and Robert Lee Williams, both 18-year-old seniors at Roy Miller High School, have been missing since Thursday, May 9th. The two friends were last seen leaving school early that day and are supposed to graduate on May 31st.

The investigation has revealed that Abel's credit card was used at a Circle K gas station in San Diego, Texas, but surveillance footage failed to show whether the teens were present due to the angle of the cameras. The vehicle was last spotted passing through the smuggling side of the checkpoint in Laredo, Texas, around 2 a.m. on Friday, May 10th. The authorities are investigating possible connections to the area.

The missing teens were last seen driving a light blue 2008 Chrysler 300 with Texas license plate SZT-6186. If you have any information about the vehicle's whereabouts, please contact the authorities immediately.

Janice Coats, Robert's aunt, expressed the family's distress, saying, "We are scared, and this is not like Rob." The families are desperate for any information that could lead to the safe return of their loved one.

Tragedy Strikes as Young Couple Found Dead in Car in San Antonio

In a devastating discovery, the bodies of Savannah Soto and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, were found in a car today. According to Police Chief William McManus, the bodies may have been in the vehicle for three to four days and is now being investigated as a possible murder.

A Silver Alert was issued on Christmas Day after Savannah was reported missing since Friday. The investigation is currently underway, and further details entail Guerra was arrested for assaulting Savannah in December of 2022.

Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of Savannah and Matthew during this unimaginable tragedy. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

'DESPACITO' AND 'GASOLINA' SINGER DADDY YANKEE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT TO DEDICATE HIS LIFE TO CHRISTIANITY

Daddy Yankee is officially retiring from reggaeton to devote his life to his religious faith, the rapper said after ending his farewell tour, La Meta (The Goal), Sunday night in his homeland Puerto Rico.

The 46-year-old singer made the announcement in a lengthy speech following a larger-than-life performance of his global hit “Gasolina,” a song that marked the beginning of the globalization of reggaeton and catapulted him into mainstream success back in 2004.

"My people, this day for me is the most important day of my life. And I want to share it with you because living a life of success is not the same as living a life with purpose," the artist, who also popularized the 2017 megahit “Despacito” with Luis Fonsi, said in Spanish.

Despite traveling the world, winning awards and being praised by fans worldwide, a part of him felt unfulfilled for a long time, he told a cheering crowd of more than 18,000 people at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico. "I have to confess that those days are over. Someone was able to fill that emptiness," he said.

Despite wearing stylish sunglasses onstage, the tears streaming down his face were visible to the thousands of fans around the world who watched him closely via livestream.

In his message, Daddy Yankee cited this Bible verse in Spanish: “What good will it be for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?”

"That is why tonight, I recognize, and I am not ashamed to tell the whole world that Jesus lives in me and that I will live for him," the singer said with his hand to the sky.

Daddy Yankee announced he would embark on "a new beginning" as Ramón Ayala, his birth name.

"All the tools that I have in my possession such as music, social networks, platforms, a microphone — everything that Jesus gave me, is now for his kingdom," he said. "Thank you very much, Puerto Rico, and I hope that you walk with me in this new beginning."

"To all the people who followed me, follow Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life," he added. "Just like Jesus, with his mercy, allowed me to travel the world, in your mercy, Father, I hope you allow me to evangelize the world from Puerto Rico.

Naughty, Not Nice- Rajan Ahuja. Today the Crónica has exclusively learned that Rajan Ahuja and his family own another water company, Naughty Water, LLC. (What a scumbag name) Rajan Ahuja is the registered agent, founder, and manager under Texas law of Naughty Water.

Under Civil Statute 171 and Port policy, Port Commissioner Rajan Ahuja had an obligation to disclose his personal and family ties to the Port of Corpus Christi. He may be in violation of the official state statute. All while he was using Port staff to set up meetings with the City of Corpus Christi for his private water company for personal gain.

We believe a vote to reappoint Port Commissioner Rajan Ahuja is a vote to continue conflicts of interests and unethical conduct that include using his city Port appointment for personal financial gain. Ahuja has failed to disclose his conflict and failed to recuse himself from all discussions about water including seawater desalination. Ahuja failed to turn in required financial disclosures and we now know why.

No City Council member can ethically vote to reappoint Rajan Ahuja. There can be no debate. The evidence is crystal clear.
