Grateful for those who taught me gratitude. The attitude in the City is devisive sometimes and it's easy to succumb to the sucka sh*t when you have malice in your heart for others. Give props like you give criticism. Make your own list if it bothers you so much. Host your own events if you didn't get the shine you feel entitled to.
The real impactful members of the community don't always agree but they also don't give their energy to DISAGREE with every little thing. I'm no preacher and don't claim to be always right but it seems to me that it boils down to work hard/strategically and get your name in the rooms where decisions are being made or s**u (respekfully)

Genius, cut the s**t.... the "Denver scene" isn't the issue. It's feeling entitled to fame imo. It takes years of consistency and studying your craft that delivers results. Read the books and interviews of your favorite performers, DJs, dancers, etc. I'm willing to bet you ain't gone find many stories about how they just complained or made slick FB posts about their peers and then blew up.
So many times I see posts like "some of yall need to..." and "Denver just ain't the place for xyz..." Move tf around then, physically AND mentally. Tap in with resources you haven't reached out to yet. Lots of big dawgs in this market and beyond to help you progress as a music maker if that's your lane. I personally made wayyy more $$$ when I stopped giving af if someone from my local scene knew it or not.
Many of the folks who have earned their clout now also have a resume that includes many years of work you never saw. Get off their 🍆. The idea that everyone who is successful "must know someone" or somehow cheated to get what they have is ridiculously juvenile. These people work harder than you think.
