Suuuuuper stoked on my art from Keith Butterfield ! To say mahalo for putting together his website, he thoughtfully painted me this beautifully fantastic personalized watercolor, pen & acrylic art piece. He took what he knows about me- my passion for teaching, inspiration for teaching from my mom, love for the ocean, and so many more little details here and there... we’re mermaids teaching local vocabulary to student sea creatures! I love the color blends and all the tiny intricate details. Now I just have to decide where to hang it- school or home?

I’ve been kind of quiet on SM the last few days because I’ve been busy designing a website for a client... and today we made it official and got it published! . .
Feels good to get it done, have a happy client, and add another experience in this digital journey. . .
Be on the lookout for some changes as I grow! A business truly is like a baby... it changes as you grow, learn things, discover, and just.. evolve. One thing I’m kinda bummed about, I’ll share in another post later, but I’m trying to see the silver lining and allow it to be a growth point instead of a hurdle.

Digital presence... what does that mean?? . .
How many of us have Googled a business, a restaurant, a product, or a service before deciding to spend our money on them? 🙋🏻‍♀️ . .
Unless it’s a cheap impulse buy (ouu, my fave gum is on sale!) ... I think everyone does! What do reviews say? What does their website look like? Are they on social media? Do they have a following? . .
What you can prove online makes a difference- whether it be through testimonials, a loyal following, or a convincing site showcasing your awesomeness. . .
What’s your online presence? How can you make it stronger? Are you creating a lead the moment someone puts info connected to your business in the search bar? . .

I like this quote, even though my first reaction was hmm... I’m pretty sure there’s several tropical flowers here in Hawaii that bloom all year. Hah- the skeptic in me.
But, I was getting down on myself because usually weekends are when I get those Peridot Path things done & this weekend I didn’t. It didn’t help my mindset. I was feeling behind on my game (even more) and the self-doubt was rearing it’s ugly head again.
But I was reminded so sweetly (thank you, my rock- ) of all the wonderful important things I did get done.. a ton of Christmas to-dos and more. It’s all about balance. This balance and juggle game has been a challenge, for sure. But learning to be patient with oneself is a good reminder... no matter what the journey of our growth is!

Every Sunday my phone sends me my weekly report of usage. Lately, my daily average has gone up as I spend a lot more time on my phone naturally due to jumping into this digital world. But a bunch of time is still just from scrolling through my feed.

MINDSET. . . something I struggle with more often than I’d like to admit!
I go back and forth between thinking I’ve got this with all the confidence in the world ... and some days I beat myself down, thinking I’m crazy for even attempting something out of my comfort zone.
I just have to remember- what makes those days different from each other? NOTHING. It’s all in my head. I can choose to believe in myself and keep moving forward or I can doubt myself.

A few years ago, I worked with various MLM sales consultants as a "professional hostess". I ran a group where I hosted their sales, posted ads that linked to their inventory or the group, and boosted their posts for engagement. That Facebook is not the same Facebook we know today. I've been a bit hard on myself... I had plans to hit the ground running with my side hustle, but, life happens. There is just not enough time in the day as I write this post at 11:35pm. How many of you wish you could clone yourself?!
But even if it is not at the speed that I had envisioned upon embarking on this journey, I'm still continuously moving forward. Slowly chipping away at each task until I'm ready to make the big unveil and make it a reality!
