I just want to give anyone attending the club meeting tomorrow that our dirt road is in rough shape. They are currently running a ton of large trucks up and down so it is a sloppy mess. It is passable and you should make it fine. Just take your time and be careful!

This Sunday at 2 p.m. will be our first Club Meeting of the New Year. Our Vice President, David Patton will be giving a presentation on Water Quality and the process of Biological Filtration. Just a reminder, club dues for 2020 will be due at this meeting unless we have prior arrangements. Dues are $40 for attending members and $20 for online members. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

This forum was created out of a need for information in the Northeastern United States.
Our directive is to help educate and assist anyone experiencing issues with their ponds or aquariums that contain Koi or Goldfish. We have several very knowledgeable and experienced members that are more than happy to help you with any issues you are having or may have. We also are here to help you on your journey from beginner hobbyist to full blown koi addict! So, if you are interested in koi or goldfish or you already have them and want to learn more, you have found the right place. We look forward to you joining or group and sharing your information with us all.

Thank You to everyone that made it out for the monthly meeting yesterday and to those that joined via the live feed. I feel we have got most of the basic information and rules for the way the club will be ran figured out. If anyone has concerns or thoughts, please let us know and we can address it at the next meeting.
If anyone has a suggestion for the topic of next months discussion I am open to pretty much anything. We hope to have more attend next months meeting and see this club grow!
For those members we have thus far, Club Dues will be due at the next meeting which will be January 12th at 2 p.m. We hope to see you all there!

Today is our second monthly meeting for N.E.E.D for koi members! It will be at 2 p.m at Mountain Top Koi. If anyone can think of concerns or ideas for the club, we can address them at the meeting today. If you don't have four wheel drive you may want to choose to stop at the end of the drive and I can come out and pick you up. If you need a ride, call me and I will be out to get you ASAP. I look forward to seeing you all here! If you cannot attend in person, we will be going online today. I am unsure of how well it will work but we are going to try. If you will not be able to attend in person I will need to know so we can invite you into the chat for the meeting.

Ok, we now have a laptop graciously donated for club use by Drew and Karen Bourne! This will allow us to go live at our future club meetings. If you are interested in attending our club meeting via online, I will need to receive a notice so we can invite you. At this point the only way I know to do it is a video chat. So if you send me a message I can ring you on Sunday for the club meeting. Please let me know so we can get things rolling!

With the bad weather hitting our area this weekend, what have you done to prepare. In case we lose power a small backup generator that can at least run an air pump is a great thing to have. I bought mine at Harbour Freight for under $100 with a two year warranty. Another thing is to do a large water change to be sure your water quality is as good as possible before we lose power. Hope everyone and their fish make to through the impending storm without issues. Stay safe everyone!
