Can I be bold? I want to go out on a limb here and guess that some of you might not have a totally clear understanding of what managing a brand for a small business entails. Am I right?

Instagram is no longer a photo sharing app...

The head of Instagram pulled out this statement and breezed by it with no further explanation. Let’s think about what this means.

Instagram is making a switch in focus to lean into the trend of video. But this has been happening for a while now.

Reels and IGTV have become necessary to succeed in business on Instagram. The official statement that video will be a focus does come with one thing that needs to be addressed.

Photos are not a thing of the past, but I would guess that they will not rank as highly in new versions of the algorithm as video becomes a higher focus. If you haven’t already begun adding video to your strategy, the time is now.

Just my WFH coworker...share some of the benefits you’ve found to working from home!

I am so fortunate to have been able to adapt the work I do to be completely remote.

While I do love interacting with people, and I miss meeting up with incredible clients at Starbucks, I have found some unexpected benefits to working from home.

⭐️ I can work out when I take a lunch
⭐️ I can see my family throughout the day
⭐️ my dog keeps my toes warm while I work
⭐️ I can spread out across my entire floor when working on big projects
⭐️ Yoga pants have become work attire
⭐️ I can meet with more clients via zoom

There’s a difference between having an Instagram and managing it.

I had the privilege of managing an Instagram profile during their Veterans Day event and I am so pleased to see this much growth in only a few days!

This is only the beginning, I see big things in their social media journey!

I think someone is happy when I’m not on-site for a client...

While I am able to work remotely to help my clients build a social media presence, I’m also able to stop in for my local clients and take photos or videos, work on snail mail campaigns, I can even manage an event table for you so you can get back to focusing on your bigger tasks!

There’s nothing more heartwarming than starting traditions for my little love.

I’ve been in Temecula for about a year now and it has been quite the year! I’ve been able to watch my son grow surrounded by loving family, started 2 of my own businesses and helped multiple brands market more effectively to their audiences using social media.

As we move into the tail end of the year, it’s hard not to look back. I’m so proud to have built a life here for my family, starting with traditions like visiting the Peltzer Pumpkin Farm with my son 🎃🎃🎃
