As this moto season is winding down I wanted to take a second to show some appreciation to the people who come out on a regular basis and take pictures at the races.

Some day when I'm old and lying to my kids (or somebody elses kids) about being fast "back in the day" the pictures these folks take are going to be my main selling point.

Some do it for free, some ask for a couple bucks but the bottom line is these people are WAY under appreciated and most of us take them for granted.

These are a few logos that I've done for some of these people to say thank you and get some practice for myself. There are people I'm missing or that have logos already but if you are a moto photographer who doesn't and you want a semi-okish logo FO FREE. DM me

Something a little different today! Multi-P.O.V. video from last weekends Silver Dollar Shootout ENDURO. Actually some surprisingly good racing between a Washed up A class rider on his girlfriend's 125, an upper-mid pack B class rider, and (myself) a top C class rider!

P-1 Sunday at the Bob Reese memorial/ Silver dollar shootout enduro.

Went out and tried something different this weekend, being my first enduro it was definitely a different experience!

The trail and obstacles were a lot more technical & even though I had my fair share of struggles I generally like the harder stuff, it showed in the results. Happy to bring home the win!

It was also super cool getting to race with some good dudes who I normally don't see out on the trail 🤘🏾

P-2 at the Fox Valley/WFO hare scramble over the weekend.

I've had an incredible string of bad luck in relation to my races in Mendota/Wedron since I started racing. There's just a LONG bizzare list of one-off things that have gone wrong each trip out that way..

SO, for this race I put an emphasis on changing that narrative!

Jumped out and grabbed the holeshot but dialed it WAY back and rode super conservative on a slick muddy day. Cody on the other hand was charging and made the pass on me for 1st a couple laps in & that's where we stayed for 2nd/21

I definitely could have pushed harder but I didn't have to pick the bike up even once and that was the strategy. No matter how hard I pushed idk if I had another 02:25 of speed 😳 dude was on a mission!

winning the mental game 🧠 (for me) is a much bigger struggle than the physical battle of racing and I feel like sticking to my game plan and dialing things back it was a personal victory.

2 day Geneseo WFO this weekend. nothing soothes the soreness of back to back days of racing like a WIN!

went 2-2 on pulling holeshots!

Saturday got passed straight up trying to hold onto the bike and ran 2nd place the whole race until a last lap crash let 2 more people get by. battled back to 3rd before the race ended.

Sunday the same layout (in reverse) somehow felt 10x better to me! I rode smooth and smart for my first wire-to-wire WIN!

BIG thanks to couldn't have raced Sunday without them & saw countless other racers leaning on them as a race day resource. make sure you check em' out!!

Never have I had to do a pre-hare scramble, scramble for a starting position, and I clearly wasn't happy about that. By the end of the day I gave myself plenty of other things to be mad about. Trail was great probably the best I've ever raced on. personal performance wise maybe the worst i've ever raced 😅 compounding mistakes landed me far short of where I want to be but you'll have that on these big jobs! live scoring when I finished showed 4th live laps website showed 6th or 7th so no idea where I actually finished. Not really worried about it, I'm better than most of the mistakes I made and am mostly concerned with cleaning things up, re-focusing and proving that.

Well s**t, the 450 is down and my 250 2 smoker has basically been sitting in my trailer for two years now.. told myself I was going to race her this year but quite frankly I've just been a bitch, it scares the s**t out of me. I normally ride the 450 for MX or the 300 2 stroke in the woods. The 250 is by far the gnarliest bike I've been on, it's just a complete different animal.

Last time I put a 2 stroke on a track was at Megacross and things got goofy. 😅 I'm a completely different rider than I was back then, but it's still in the back of my head for sure. The latest break down on the foe fatty is forcing my hand on something that's needed to happen for a while now so here goes nothing 🤞🏽🤘🏾

First time at Aztalan Cycle Club for the vet series Friday/Saturday. New track, new* bike. why not? 🤷🏾‍♂️

where's W̶a̶l̶d̶o̶ Wingnut??

I've got a lot of questions lately about where the videos have been ect. and it's actually awesome that people care and want more! That's really the reason for this post.

This sport has changed my life and I have literally fallen in love with it to the point that it's reshaped my dreams and what I want to do with my life.

I started off about 9 months ago making and releasing my first video, it was really rough but I went on to do 10+ more videos working out bugs and getting more familiar with the editing. I finally got to a point where I'm not embarrassed by the quality of my content and it seems like a lot of people are really enjoying it!

That's when I stopped posting and I want to explain WHY. I want to make a real serious run at going all in on this youtube thing (whatever that means) growing it and taking it as far as I am able to. I want to re-launch and have some level of quality as my "starting point"

I have a LOT in the works within the context of these new dreams of mine and I realized I can sit here forever waiting for all the pieces to align at once & fall together perfectly OR I can start now* and make them a reality.

I've always had dreams that make other people uncomfortable but, I have enough confidence in my work ethic and will power to know I could make them happen no matter what. These new dreams though.. these ones make ME uncomfortable. It's things that I'm not completely in control of. It's unknowns and unfamiliar territory. It's the fact that I'm going to need HELP(🤢) and to rely on other people to make it happen which is a VERY scary idea for me personally.

let's talk about these "dreams" and put them out there for the world to see as a tool for accountability.

1. My riding/racing: right now everything falls below this on the priority list it's my passion and something I've never felt this strongly about before in my life! it is 1 and 2 on my list. my goal is to ride PRO both in the woods and MX before I turn 30. that's less than 4 years. there's going to be people who know where I'm at now and literally laugh out loud when they read that. I love it, don't believe me just watch! NOBODY will work harder.

If you are somebody or know somebody that can HELP(🤢) me get there (coaching?) without bankrupting me to the point of not being able to achieve my other dreams message me/tag them!

3. Owning/operating a track/trail system: as many people already know I bought 20 acres (dubbed Wingnut Ranch) I've been approved to acquire 26 more adjacent acres to build said track but there's some very frustrating hold ups keeping this from happening!

We were slated to host a hare scramble on said land through WFO promotions but a neighbor and his very fancy lawyer decided that they needed to put a stop to it and got the county zoning commission to send me a notice very vaguely stating what I could NOT do on my own land (land of the free huh?) knowingly doing it anyways would open not only me but my other (really good) neighbor who does nothing but favors for me up to a civil suit. that's why that race was moved. I am in the process of acquiring the necessary(🙄) permits but it's been very slow going and rather expensive process (for a working man) the neighbor who's cheerios have been p**sed in is undoubtedly going to fight me on it the whole way. He is a business owner who probably has deeper pockets than me and who's lawyer I've been told has some serious weight behind his name. I can't afford financially or the time it would take to submit for a permit multiple times. SEEKING HELP(🤢) form anyone with knowledge/experience in this area, maybe even a lawyer who's familiar with this type of thing. AND for the record I did offer to buy this angry neighbor new cheerios and to accommodate him in every way I could think of but I think he just likes his cheerios to be p**sy honestly.

another "issue" is that my good neighbor who has the adjacent 26 acres won't sell it to me until he can sell his business that is also adjacent to the property. it's cuttently a dog boarding and breeding business and country house being sold as that. been working on a joint venture to acquire EVERYTHING at once but its moving too slow for my liking. The building would make a damn good track office but the cost of the business exceeds the value of the building. NEED HELP!(🤢) If you are someone or know someone interested in a turn key profitable dog business and or has the financial means to partner with me on this please message me or tag them!

again people are going to laugh, I've been in the sport for less than 2 years and I want to own/run a track? yeah, you f**king bet. I've got a fresh perspective & some ideas that could help inject new/more life into the sport I love. Tag someone that knows the ins and outs of operating a track who's brain I could pick. please!!

4. The full time YouTuber: Never in my life did I imagine I'd say that but, these are the times we're living in. It's a real occupation and theres people out there doing really well who's content I think falls well short of what I can/will do. Why not make a valid effort to get to do what I love for a living? I'm not quitting my job (yet?) the people who know me personally know that I work nights and almost every weekend. I'm able to make the races most of the time but the things I've got to put myself/my body through to do so makes it hard as hell. I'm not complaining because I am fortunate to be racing at all & the job itself is great, just the schedule will never jive with racing. I owe it to myself to at least TRY to free myself from that and never have to wonder "what if".

I've got a ton of pre-editing done and ready to go for when I get this train rolling again, I've also been doing a TON if riding, racing & recording building a huge library of content so I can be consistent* in my uploads. one of the only things holding me up with this is trying to figure out a format that I'm going to use (upload days, times, frequency, video types ect.)

the thing I need HELP(🤢) with I have already been getting! your support! it's not a fast process to grow a channel but there are things that can make it go much faster. YouTube operates on algorithms and that is key to success. all the likes, comments and ESPECIALLY shares make it more likely that someone else will find my content. for me to make it work I'm going to have to expand beyond the local audience, it's the difference between 300 views and a channel with 500k+ subscribers making real money doing this. I appreciate all the support I've got this far and I've definitely seen things trending in the right direction with my previously released videos. sharing, commenting opinions/feedback, and liking the video are all FREE and go a LONG way in determining the success of the channel. appreciate everyone who has been a part of it so far. you'll be the O.G.s if I do get this thing to take off!

5. merch/apparel/graphic design: I've been working on teaching myself graphic design* to make my own stuff and I've got ideas for things I think I can use to really supplement or even become my main income if I can execute them correctly. I'm in the market for a wide format printer/plotter and laminator. not really looking to get into doing bike graphics. if you are someone or know someone who might have equipment or knowledge message me/tag them!

again, it is against my nature to ask for help with anything if I can avoid it, but I'm working on this whole getting out of my comfort zone thing.. ALSO, I've become so set on accomplishing these things that I am generally uninterested in much of anything else 🤷🏾‍♂️ so, sorry in advance for whatever strain/neglect that may cause with the personal relationships.

🚨RACEEEEE REEEEEPORT🚨

I won! FINALLY, I f**king won!!

WFO ATKINSON IL 2

After my most physically and mentally exhausting week leading up to a race ever & almost TEN second place finishes so far in 2020 I got over the first place hump and put myself on the top step of the podium where I've felt like I belonged for most of this year.

A lot went down this past week and there will be another post detailing some of that later but I got this win when I needed it most and that means for at least one more week I'll get to keep my sanity 👌🏾😅

also put myself solidly in first place for the WFO points series! If I can use this as a springboard and keep things rolling my next goal would be to lock up the championship early so I can finish up the season getting run over by the fast guys in the afternoon race 👀

for now I'm just going to enjoy this one!
