The time has come and it’s time to take your graduation pictures! Pictures will be held in the Southern University Bookstore on Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19 from 10am-4pm on both days. Cap and gown will be provided for pictures.

Grab your field guides and boots for BioBlitz on March 28 and 29! You’ll join BREC naturalists and local scientists to explore and document the diversity of life, or “biodiversity”, at BREC’s Bayou Manchac Park. You can participate by attending a scheduled hike, helping to document species with local scientists around the park, meeting local groups and organizations that work to protect the natural spaces of Louisiana, practicing hands-on sampling, participating in live animal encounters, and more!
