Mom’s Basement Fest 2025 went down this past weekend and it was our smoothest running festival yet. Everything was damn near perfect. I’m still riding incredibly high from it and we have a ton of people to thank for it. So here goes…
First and foremost, thank you to Nate from Westside Bowl for letting us put on our festival again for the 4th year in a row. Westside Bowl is the coolest venue in Ohio and they have the most wonderful staff from the bartenders, the sound people, the security and everyone else. A very big thank you to Beau Basement for all of your help each and every year. This whole thing would not happen without all of your help.
A huge thank you to our sponsors as well. Without your generosity, we would not be able to pay the bands as much as they’re being paid to play the festival. Angry Young and Poor, Digiorgio Florist, the Dummy Room Podcast, Mind Rocket Recording Studio, Puke Fest, I Buy Records and Jolly Ronnie Records. Your support goes a long way and we are really grateful for your contributions. A special thank you to Punk Rock Saves Lives for coming out and spreading the good word too. We need a lot more kindness and good people in this world and your efforts are nothing short of amazing.
A huge thank you to all of the bands that played. Both nights were crazy exciting and a lot of fun was had down in the trophy room this past weekend. We feel like this year might just be our best year yet as far as mixing things up. Two of our favorite bands of all time headlined this year along with several of the best bands in the scene. Each night was diverse and we had the time of our lives. We could spend the next 6 paragraphs writing about all of the bands but they will get their own time to shine in the upcoming onslaught of pictures from the in house photographer. Check out the Mom’s Basement Records instagram page for tons of footage too.
Last but certainly not least, thank you to all of the amazing people that came from all over the place to attend our festival. Things are really expensive these days and it’s not lost on us that you all still decided to spend your hard earned money to come out and party with us. Your support means everything and is the reason that we’re able to do what we do. The festival is already booked next year for October 2nd and October 3rd at Westside Bowl. We can’t wait to see all of you again.
Cheers and lots of beers!
