Marketing can feel like a maze.
In the information age tools and updates are created each day to help - but with SO MANY options it may not feel helpful. How can you narrow the field to what your company really needs? How about 3 ways to start the decision process:

1. Check your data. Google Analytics is free and easy to install on your site to start gathering insights for where traffic comes from and their key traits. Also, setting up a Facebook pixel can allow you to gain info from your social channels in addition to the insights provided on your page.

2. Identify who your audience is. All platforms have key demographics who engage more than others. Focus on the platform which has a higher chance of reaching your audience.
3. Follow your success. Do your analytics say the most of your traffic is from strategic partnerships? Work to enhance them and engage them more. Is your Pinterest more successful than Instagram? Focus your content creation on this platform and build on your other channels as secondary content and see how many weekly posts you need to keep those numbers up.
Once your channels and scheduling needs are identified, check out the social tools which function best for that platform and your secondary channels. Many tools are free, to an extent. So you'll need to know how many posts are available for your needs and budget to ensure its a fit.
