It has come to my attention that despite submitting my letter in support of Jake Mead who is running for city council in Hillsboro We Need Mead last week, my letter and two other letters of support aren't posted yet to the Hillsboro News-Times. So here is what you would have read had it been posted:

As an active member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, I know first hand how much our local businesses and communities depend on strong, effective leadership. That’s why I are proud to support Jake Mead for Hillsboro City Council. Jake has been a long-time advocate for small businesses and growth in our beautiful city and Washington County.
What makes Jake stand out is he has consistently shown unwavering commitment to listening to our concerns and working toward practical solutions. His background in business, combined with his passion for public service, makes him the ideal candidate to lead us into a more prosperous future. Jake is endorsed by many of us within the Chamber because we see and believe that Jake Mead has the vision and experience necessary to ensure Washington County thrives. I have 2 GREAT tickets to this Sunday's performance of "Is You Is" written by the amazing director of Bag and Baggage, Nik Whitcomb. I am unable to attend but can't wait to see it on the 27th.

I can finally let a secret out- I can finally share with you all the video I’ve been working on for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. I need to thank Lee Gochenour and Jen Little who rounded out the team who helped bring this video to life. We also thank the participants who shared their “Chamber Why” with us.
