Game Over (Behind the Scenes). The Making of a Student Short Film
Here's the behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the short film "Game Over," crafted by talented young filmmakers during our one-week Kid's Film School Summer Camp! Over just five days, these kids learned about story structure, cinematography, and directing, while putting their skills to the test as they actually created a real movie!
Watch as they navigate brainstorming sessions, tackle challenges, and make it all work within a crazy tight schedule. From script to screen, see how they transformed their ideas into a finished film, gaining valuable skills along the way.
We're excited to share that "Game Over" has already been selected for an international film festival! Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing the completed short film soon.

The Kid's Film School Summer Camp was sponsored but a few community members and partnerships (Janesville Performing Arts Center) and run by Stephen and Cameron Pickering of Drywater Productions. This was a long week, but working with students has been a passion of Stephen and Cameron since the start of the Drywater. We're thrilled for the future!
