CALL FOR ACTORS!

Hey everyone, we're teaching a Film School Summer Camp this week at Janesville Performing Arts Center and might need actors! We have a few actors available already, but we would love to have more options if needed. We're writing the script Monday in the class, which means we don't yet know what characters we even need :)

We will be filming Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (August 13, 14, and 15). Each day from 8 AM to 12 PM. We don't need you all three days, but just need to know availability, which will help us as we write our script.

This is not paid, and you'll have to be taking direction from 3rd-8th graders :), but I promise you, it'll be fun!

Make your own professional-quality short film like you’d see in a real film festival!

Stephen and Cameron Pickering of Janesville production company, Drywater Productions, in collaboration with Janesville Performing Arts Center, presents KIDS FILM SCHOOL, a half-day week-long summer camp for kids entering 3rd through 8th grades.

Kids will create 1-2 short films from original concept to screen based on registration numbers, plus the Kids Film School Documentary: Behind The Scenes of Camp Week. There will be a community screening of the films with a presentation and Q+A with Drywater Productions and the filmmakers at JPAC on Thursday, August 22 at 6 PM. In addition, the films will be pitched to the Beloit International Film Festival!

Day 3 of VetsRoll was awesome (and it's not over yet)! We spent the day visiting their monuments. Tonight we have a few things planned along with dinner. Tomorrow is a very early morning as it'll be a full day of traveling back to Beloit.
