He made the comercial using not even his back camera but his front camera in a dark environment.

Probably to make it seem more of an everyday video instead of all these 4k super staged videos which goes to show 2 things. Creating a brand around yourself if you are an interesting individual can help bring attention to you. “People buy from people they like”
And 2. You shouldn’t be scared that your content will look mediocre. We are in a weird stage where mediocre is thriving and less edited videos are doing better since people are tired of the super hyper edited videos.
The last one that doesn’t have to do with self branding, he lowered the price and focused on quantity over the charge per product.
The Yeezy pods where $200 and now $20 and yet Kanye made $19 million. In times where inflation is real I think it was a very smart move not only because people like trends and he is a trend setter but also because the more common it becomes the more someone might want to buy it.
