Forged documents, false allegations, insults, and concerts. Steve Hall has tried everything in his race for Sheriff of St. Mary’s County, except speak about his assault conviction, domestic violence incidents, and campaign platforms.

Hall’s popularity hit an all-time low after residents rebuked his personal attacks against Commissioner John O’Connor, a combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient, who is challenging Hall in the Republican Primary on July 19.

Hall and his cohorts have spent months spewing hateful rhetoric, but recently began crying fowl over speech they find objectionable. Hall is using the situation as a last ditch effort to gain support. So it came as no surprise when two of his outspoken female cohorts went public yesterday with more bogus accusations against O’Connor.

The females, who sought attention online, now blame O’Connor for comments made by individuals expressing opposing views. They believe that O’Connor is somehow responsible for the actions of people he neither knows nor is affiliated with. Hall bolstered the one woman’s feigned victimization on his page.

Hall is the same person who has participated in police checkpoints, COVID-related mandates on businesses, and other government encroachments on citizens rights, yet he claims to be a constitutionalist.

Hall’s views are so aligned with the Democratic Party that local democrats have been pouring money into his campaign hoping to eventually regain a foothold in the county.

Steve Hall is campaigning for Sheriff of St. Mary's County. Hall was convicted of assault in Colorado and spent six days in jail. In the years that followed, a final protective order was issued against him for domestic abuse. Hall's explosive temper has led to other physical violence since then.

Hall would be the only Sheriff in Maryland unable to carry a gun. If you're still voting for Steve Hall on July 19, be St. Mary's proud with the limited edition "I voted for a wife be**er" sticker.

Richard Fritz is running for re-election as the St. Mary's County State's Attorney. Fritz is a convicted sexual predator who gang r***d a fifteen year old girl on St. George Island along with two other men. He plead guilty to "carnal knowledge of a female child," but claims the encounter was consensual. Fritz has publicly defamed the victim many times since then.

If you're still voting for Rick Fritz on July 19, be St. Mary's proud with the limited edition "I voted for a ra**st" sticker.

NEWLY APPOINTED MEMBER OF POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY BOARD IS POLITICAL OPERATIVE FOR STEVE HALL CAMPAIGN

Leslie Ann Everett, 50, of Leonardtown, Maryland, was one of nine people appointed to the Police Accountability Board on July 1. But her tenure on the Board might be short-lived. That's because Everett is the ex-wife of a St. Mary's County deputy sheriff, and her fourth husband, whom she is married to now, is a deputy in Prince George's County. Facts that were unknown at the time of her appointment and which cast doubt on her ability to act impartial.

Everett's friendship with Sheriff Timothy Cameron's wife Angela Cameron, and her fondness for Steve Hall who is running for Sheriff of St. Mary's County, pose similar concerns. Everett has spent months bashing Hall's opponent John O'Connor online and perpetuating sordid accusations.

She remains silent about Steve Hall's assault conviction and the six days he sat in a Colorado prison cell. Everett has also said nothing about the domestic violence incident in Maryland that made Hall ineligible to carry a gun for almost seven months, something that should have permanently ended his career in law enforcement.

Everett currently works as a Human Resources Specialist. It's her tenth job since 2000. Everett lost her home to foreclosure in 2015 and filed for bankruptcy the following year. Documents recently obtained show that Everett's present husband was previously charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. And in 1990, he veered across double yellow lines while driving, causing a head-on collision that killed a twenty-four-year-old woman.

DBlastMedia reached out to O'Connor for comment and received the following response:

"There is no need for me to point out the true character of my opponents; both are doing a great job all on their own. Election campaigns should be about experience, achievements, and demonstrated leadership abilities, not spreading misinformation or tarnishing the reputation of your contenders."

Todd Fleenor, a former deputy with the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, shocked many people watching last week's candidate forum at the Lexington Park Library when he announced that "criminals should not have any rights." Fleenor is running for Sheriff in the upcoming elections.

Resident Jessica Brown watched the event live on YouTube and is one of the people uneased by Fleenor's remark. She considers his words to be a warning sign of the troubles ahead if he becomes Sheriff. Brown added, "tough on crime is a guise for unconstitutional policing."

A long-term county resident who did not wish to be named told DBlastMedia that the Gestapo mentality of Fleenor and others like him is responsible for the very situation he [Fleenor] now purportedly wants to change—referring to the public's perception of law enforcement.
