It’s going to be a big season for the NFL, and for the Backyard Football Podcast! We have a lot of big things planned this year, so stay tuned!

One year ago today, we had the idea of starting a football podcast. Pictured is the idea of our name and the color scheme we wanted. Starting a podcast was a lot harder then it seemed. From getting a logo, to making all of the different accounts we needed it was definitely time consuming. One year later we have accumulated around 1,000 listens across our first season alone because of listeners such as yourselves. Seeing how the podcast grew and changed from just one picture on Snapchat is inspiring, so we’ve spent the off-season planning out how we’re gonna make this show something special. We want to make Backyard Football something more then a podcast, a news source as well where our listeners can not only hear the latest news, but watch and read it. Starting soon Jake and Benny’ Backyard Football will be returning for the second season with a YouTube channel as well where we will be showing extra content such as reactions to insane plays and media coverage, we will also be updating our blog on our website and our social media pages with as much football news as you can want. We can’t wait to begin this new journey and really put time in on this idea. Stay tuned and thank you for your continued support on the show!
