Providing the soundtrack and music for the evening is none other than Richmond's own Grammy-Nominated Musician, the Andre Thierry. A versatile student of music, his Zydeco and R&B style transcends age, race, and background to move anyone who hears. Not only a student of music but a teacher as well, Andre is constantly giving back to our community, especially in teaching the youth.

Our featured performer is the Bay Area's own, Grammy-Nominated Poet, . He has performed nationwide and on internationally televised and streamed shows, written for the Emmy's, and is a co-host of the All Black Men Need Therapy podcast ().

We’re proud to announce that on the First month, day 5, 2023 that Shawn William will release his second book: The First 5.

This book is a 4 part series written from the eyes of a father who is private with his son, letting the world see what their love looks like.

This book is the journey of a Black man loving not only his son but also loving himself. It deals with a marriage and divorce. From being a stepfather to someone’s son to someone trying to step in to be a stepfather to my son. It covers depression, being on the spectrum, financial issues, career changes & dating.
