A lead magnet is a freebie used by businesses to entice the viewer to click. Once the viewer clicks, that cold audience member becomes a warm audience member, and once they opt-in to your freebie, your email list has just grown by one more member and that’s really the goal here, people! But before we get to growing your e-mail list, first we need to make sure your freebie is alluring enough to get people in the mood to click, so to say. Here are a few ideas to help get you started:

What is your Ideal Client Profile?

If you don't already have this pegged, it time to start digging deep!
f you don’t establish your client profile, you may inadvertently be marketing efforts to the wrong target audience, wasting precious time and resources in the process!

Here's a few tips to get you started:

1. Client Base: start by looking at the clients you already have.
2. Problem: Your ideal client has a problem that only you can solve.
3. Budget: Understand their budget for the service they're looking for.
4. Fear or Desire: Understand why their buying and bridge that gap.
5. Values: Align your values with theirs so as to understand them better.
6. Buying habits and behavior: Understand their story and buying behavior.

If you put your efforts into serving everyone, then you're inevitably going to end up selling to no one.

If you want to maintain a high level of ROI (Return On Investment) then you will need to niche down and get clear on who your target audience is and what their needs are

Your Mission Statement isn’t just a string of words about what you DO, it’s about who you ARE! Your values, ethics, culture, and most importantly, why people should choose YOU!
Your audience needs to know why they should trust and believe in your company amongst so many other competitors out there.
Here are 7 tips for a powerful mission statement that will get people choosing YOU!

1. Get to the Core Of The Matter
Get to the core of the matter – Missions must appeal to peoples needs and show how and why your organization is different from the rest and worth their investment.

2. Speak To Your Ideal Client
Know who your ideal client is! Once you have this nailed, be sure your mission speaks to their pain points, the solution you offer and why they should choose you!

3. Involve Critical Stakeholders
Involve organizational leaders in your journey to creating a powerful mission statement. Avoid any ‘nearsightedness’ you may experience by be open and collaborating with the stakeholders and visionaries of the company.

4. Replace Insider Jargon With Simple Language

Marketing is the ongoing process of making sure your product or service is compelling to your potential buyers and the market. Standing out in a competitive market while acquiring and retaining customers is quite complex🤓 .

Advertising comprises mostly paid forms of marketing📊 . Although organic social media, for example, is a form of advertising, traditional advertising involves paying for the ad placement, whether it be on TV, in a newspaper, or more commonly today – on the internet .

To sum it up - marketing is the way you're seen by your buyers and the message you’re conveying 📢.

While advertising is an important (if not the most important💪) element OF marketing. Because without advertising, there may not be much of an audience to market to!

Being relevant on social media is more crucial than what your branding or messaging says or even what's popular and trending.

There is often a small overlap between what the entrepreneur is trying to say and what the client actually wants to hear. If you're not speaking to your clients pain points (a.k.a their needs) than they're not going to hear you - you might as well be speaking a different language.

Relevance is about keeping the message clear and significant to your clients needs and meeting them where they're at.

Hi there! My name is Lea - great to meet you!
The one thing you probably know about me is that I'm a Social Media Ads Manager.
What you probably don't know about me is that before I was an ads manager I was (and still am) a Photographer 📸

Photography was what compelled me to learn social media ads.
The market for photography is heavily saturated with some seriously talented folks and besides follow-trains (not a good way to find actual clients btw) it was so hard to gain traction on the platforms.

And it's no mystery that it's hard to be found on social media - the way the world is heading (especially since 2020) it seems everyone and their dog has their footing online and in ads. The competition for space is unreal!

It's hard to stay focused on the goal when life around you feels so out of control.

👉🏻 Staying at the same dead-end job is hard.
💪🏻 Starting a business is hard.

Starting my own business was the best decision of my life.
When I was on maternity leave I had no idea what I was going to do with myself once my time was up. I knew I couldn't go back to my old job and I knew I didn't want to go back to retail. Nothing seemed to fit and all I wanted was to be able to watch my little girl grow up.
But then I became an entrepreneur for the first time and everything clicked into place. It was tough - really tough, and honestly, it still is some days. But wow!! I wouldn't change this journey for anything or any job in the world.

Okay, I get it. It's December and you're just trying to get through the holidays, right?
I felt the same way for many years when I built my first business.
👉 it's January and no one is buying
👉 the economy is in a recession
👉 people don't want sessions during the cold months

But what I didn't realize at the time was that I had fallen into that Scarcity Mindset:
❌ I'm not good enough
❌ I don't have the most expensive equipment
❌ the market is too saturated
❌ imposter syndrome is STRONG!!
and I could honestly go on and on of all the reasons I wasn't pushing myself to reach my goals.
The scarcity mindset is a belief that you have limited resources and you are unable to provide for yourself and for others. And frankly, that's a pretty lonely, defeated place to be. Trust me. I lived it.
If you can change your focus to that of an Abundance Mindset, you will see your whole world change right before your eyes!
