If you already have your own period correct costume and gear. This directory may be your passport to a part. Also if you have a stunt you have perfected you should list it. Lucky Buck Production movie fans here is a outline of the movie I producing.

Modern Western
Heaven on Earth
A young girl due to an auto accident and her mother being killed finds out she has a grandfather rancher. The mother and grandfather had a falling out just before she was born. Even though the grandfather was never allowed to see her, he sent a birthday card every year to her.
After the accident the daughter trying to figure out where she was going to move to, as the rent where she and her mother lived in San Francisco was much too high for her alone.
While sitting on her mom’s bed going through some papers she found in a shoe box from under the bed, she found 20 unopened envelopes addressed to her from a Buck McKay. McKay was her mother’s maiden name. Upon opening each envelope she found a birthday card to her for every year of her life and $100 in each.
Looking around more she found pictures of her mother and her mother’s father she had never seen before as he was never mentioned.
Her curiosity running wild, she used the internet to find out who Buck McKay was and found some records in ancestry.com proving he was her grandfather. Now she thinks “Why didn’t my mother ever talk or go see him?” Thinking he maybe a bad person, or just her mom’s own stubbornness that has kept them apart. Placing the money in her bag she decides to find him and check him out for herself and maybe return the money to him.
The next she heads out to Nevada address where the public records says he lives.
Mean while Buck McKay and his long time friend and ranch foreman (Colonel) live on a 500 acre cattle ranch near Winnemucca Nevada. The ranch is an old style cattle ranch with about 200 head of cattle. Buck and the Colonel have been talking about some missing cattle and the loss of his astringed daughter. It seems that there have been some modern rustlers working the area. The rustlers have been said to be a very organized group stealing cattle and running them to Mexico for slaughter.
The next day a strange car pulls down the long driveway to the main ranch house and Buck goes out to investigate who it may be. As Faith gets out of the car Buck’s face shows signs of shock because the image Buck sees is that of his young daughter from years ago. He calls out “Kathy!” and Faith answers “No my mother is dead!” Buck shakes his head as to clear it.
Buck says “You have to be Faith?” and asks her to come on it and get out of the cold. She follows him into the house and as he was just getting some lunch offered some to her. They sat down at the ranch house dinner table and began to talk.
She still wanted to know why her mom hide him from her. After some small talk about the ranch she just couldn’t refrain from just asking “Why didn’t mom want me to know of you?”
Buck proceeds to tell her “After your mom and dad got married your father came out to the ranch under the pretence of looking for work. Well I put him on and in just no time he was caught trying to steal some of your great grandma’s things. So I fired him and kicked him off the ranch. He told your mother that I fired him for no reason and bullied him off the ranch and told him he was never allowed on the place again. As I had no proof and didn’t press charges your mom believed him and never spoke to me again. Yes I tried to talk to her, but you mom had your grandma’s stubbornness and always hung up on me.
Faith almost in tears begins to tell Buck about the cards and money and how she just found them just yesterday. She also told about her mom debts and the cost of living in San Francisco and how she needed a place to land until she could get on her feet.
Buck looking at Faith a defiant city girl dress in designer clothes and shoes tells her she can stay there if she would mind staying in her mom’s old room. He suggested she might look and see if there were some more ranch type clothing in there left from her mother. Faith with a sigh of relief goes into her mom’s old room. The room was still the way Faith’s mom left it right out of high school. Sure enough clothes left in the drawers and closet fit faith along with some boots in the closet.
At dinner Faith met the Colonel and they all chatted about when Faith’s mom lived there. After dinner Faith helps clear the table and helps Buck with the dishes all the time talking about her and her mother.
The next day Buck wakes her before dawn and asks if she would help with the other ranch chores. She jumps up noticing the darkness and says “It isn’t even tomorrow yet” Buck assures her it and takes her to the barn and connects a hay wagon to go out and feed the cattle in the pasture. While in the barn she notices all the horses in their stalls and is fascinated with this one black.
After feeding she asks Buck about the black and he proceeds to tell her that was her mother’s Mare’s c**t. Now 10 years old and fully trained but still always looking for something or someone “Just strange?” he said.
“It’s almost like he’s looking for friend.” Faith felt a connection when she was in the barn earlier. When she looked at the black their eyes met and she felt this warm feeling come over her and felt her mother’s presents for some reason.
After breakfast Buck and the Colonel invited her to saddle up and go out and check the cattle with them. She asked if she could ride the black. “Sure” Buck replied. Faith and the black took to one another almost immediately. As they all rode along Buck told her about the rustlers and the missing cattle from their ranch. As the days went on Faith would rid the black almost daily and grew closer and closer to Buck and the Colonel.
One day while riding alone she came across the rustlers and while investigating closer managed to be kidnapped. He horse managed to get free and run home to his stall.
Buck and the Colonel saw the horse running back into the barn while doing some chores. Immediately the saddled up and tried to track her horses tracks back to where she may have fallen off and lost her horse.
Riding late into the afternoon the found her saddle bags and the binoculars that she carried in them on the ground. The Colonel noticed another set of hoof prints and the sign of a struggle in the sand. It appeared that she put up a good fight but was dragged off to the north. As the followed the tracks of the struggle they came across the worst signs they could have, someone or group had just herded a large number cattle by this location. Buck and the Colonel realized that she had been kidnapped by the rustlers.
No one knew of the depth of friendship of Buck and the Colonel or of the fact that both were decorated veterans from the Viet Nam war. Realizing it would be dark soon the returned to the ranch house to arm themselves and return in the am.
Ok Fans you just have to wait for more…….
