Have y’all seen Twisters yet? What did y’all think?
Division of Arkansas' #1 source for weather, chasing natures craziest weather in the heartland
Have y’all seen Twisters yet? What did y’all think?
This video from mine (I’m Jamie) & Chris Shaw’s Tropical Storm chase on Monday makes me LOL every time I listen to it. We had rotation on both sides of us as well as in front of us. We moved shortly after this. How would you have responded? Would you have stayed and tried to see what it did or would you have moved to a somewhat safer location? Let us know!
This is the heavy band of wind and rain from Tropical Storm Beryl Monday night taken near the Caddo Valley area by our chase team members.
Just a few photos from my storm chase Monday night. Got the whole package of tornadoes, heavy rain, wind, and flooding from tropical storm Beryl. I love chasing tropical systems.
Possible tornado/ funnel cloud that our chase team members Jamie and Chris got tonight near Social Hill.
Hope everyone has enjoyed a great holiday weekend! All eyes on the Gulf Coast now as we turn our attention to the tropical system expected to hit the heartland.
We are continuing to monitor things regarding l and it's impact to the natural state and the rest of the Heartland. We are down our main storm hunter rig and awaiting to get a new one but we have a small team of chasers eager to roll. We will be looking to add to our team over the summer!
Enjoying a break this holiday weekend up on toad suck but all eyes are on next week and what could bring tropical impacts to the natural state and much of the southern part of the Heartland. Stay tuned....
Hurricane Beryl Update 🌀:
Almost wall to wall agreement regarding not only Beryl impacting the Texas coastline but also bringing impacts to Arkansas early to mid next week 🌀!
Specific timing is still being questioned right now, however, IF trends hold....we could see impacts here in Arkansas as early as Tuesday-Tuesday Night.
For those that aren't familiar with tropical impacts, this would bring the following:
1) Heavy rainfall/Flooding Potential 🌧
2) Tropical Tornado Threat (depending on the overall track) 🌪
3) Gusty winds (depending on the strength)
Regardless, rainfall & cooler temps return for next week Arkansas, lots to watch here!

BERYL BECOMES THE FIRST CATEGORY 5 OF THE SEASON & THE EARLIEST CAT 5 ON RECORD!
Wind gusts are now up to 195 MPH in this system! 😳
We will be watching this system very closely over the next 5-7 days!

Sunsets with clouds in the summer time make for great scenery.
Check out these pics of a shelf cloud as it rolled into downtown Little Rock this morning!
Do you miss January yet?
We’re already seeing pumpkin spice flavored things on store shelves. Do you think it’s too early for it or no? Let us know in the comments!

Good morning everyone. Here is the start of those photos from our recent trip to the Plains. The scenery this year made up for our lack of tornado intercepts. Just the relaxation enjoying nature was worth it. Shout-out to our friends at Natural State Wireless for keeping us powered with internet throughout the trip. Plenty more where this came from! .
Photo drop coming tomorrow! Y'all ready for some of those chasecation pics? Still have a summer full to go thru! Videos start soon to! Patreon gets a sneak peek later this week!

2024 Chasecation - Seminole Texas Severe Thunderstorm Tornado Possible!
Good morning everyone! Phew what a chase yesterday on a low risk high reward day. We cut it at dark but storms kept going afterwards! We were inside the rotation of a storm near Lamar,CO yesterday. Here is a phone edit of the rotation of our storm! Had it produced, man oh man. In a field. Middle of nowhere. Today takes us south to the Caprock of Texas for an increased severe risk with tornadoes possible and very large hail! Stream will once again be dependent on signal and will be up once we get on something, again IF service is decent. Regardless we will have plenty of footage for you! We have TONS to go through on the trip home Sunday afternoon! We will update throughout the afternoon! #txwx #phwx #cowx
You saw live on the chase the hail intercept here is how it was from out in the elements! Another awesome chase today here in Texas. We look to be playing the panhandle the rest of our trip! Stay tuned for plenty of footage to come! #txwx #phwx #stormchasing
