I have been commissioned by MoniArts to create an installation for the GLOW Festival in Monticello next Saturday the 22nd/Feb. These 4 foot tall letters will all be precisely and individually targeted by my LightForm AR projector, and painted with animated textures and colors. I'll space them out a bit. The display will probably be about 12 feet wide. There is a parade of illuminated animals and fun art at 6:30 and the park event follows at 7pm - West Bridge Park, Monticello MN.

In my opinion, this event is far more visually interesting than the Art Shanties project. MontiArts does a great job of helping people make wonderful art for this event.

Ok, here's how we're gonna do this... The next producer or client to bring me a job here in the Minneapolis area, that books a week of my Flame time at rate card: I will smoke a 5-7 pound brisket personally and deliver it to your door (within 50 miles) the same day as the cook. You can't have the one I have smoking right now, but if you were standing in my driveway smelling it, you would give some serious thought to this offer.

To those who are unaware, if your Facebook friends list is public (not set to private), then you expose your friends to a spoof attack where someone copies your profile picture and then makes a new profile with your name and picture, and then uses your public friends list to send phishing messages to your pals. Just so you know.... ya know.

This sleepy little pollinator is about 1" long. Frames from 4K video shot on my Osmo. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bokeh! The moss looks like little gardens. I didn't have a plan to shoot anything magical today and then this caught my eye.

I'm going on vacation next month, May 1st to the 13th.
I post this important news here because bookings have been slooooow, but I know if I make concrete plans to do something cool for myself, work will blessedly appear to interrupt my plans. (And, I'll gladly take your job and rebook....) 😀
