We are a part of Wine Women, a non profit serving women professionals in the wine industry. The Wine Women Radio Hour (WWRH) launched its first show on October 30, 2018, in the KSVY Sonoma studios. Our show is by and for women working in the wine industry. (We have many men working in the wine industry as our guests, however!)
Each show usually consists of some wine industry current news before we introduce the show guest. Many of our guests are winemakers, winery owners, general managers, CFOs or other key personnel. We love to hear their stories:
-- What do they do in the wine industry?
-- What was their path into the wine industry?
-- Where do they hope to take their careers and businesses?
-- Have they experienced any unique challenges?
-- What advice do they have for those coming up in the industry?
In June 2019 we joined the Radio Misfits Podcast Network and began offering our show for downloading and subscribing via Spotify, Apple Podcast, Stitcher and other online podcast networks. This move also entailed a move to our new home: The Panel Wine Lounge, in downtown Sonoma, where we record the show. Learn more about us from the Sonoma Index-Tribune story.
