Landlords in Huntsville have left tenants high, dry, and overheated.
If we have a "right to work" then shouldn't we have a job guarantee?
We talk to Chandra Childers from the Economic Policy Institute about the Southern Economic Model. Otis Berryhill from the Iron Workers Local 477 talks to us about their apprenticeship program. There are a lot of bosses (and media corporations paid by the bosses) freaking out about how California's raising of the minimum wage allegedly led to the unemployment of thousands and thousands of workers... We take a look at these claims.
This just proves that unionization "doesn't work". I mean, those dang "union dues" will get 'em every time, boys.
Not long after the union loss at Alabama's Mercedes plant, the plant bosses are already proving that unionization would have been better as they begin walking back big promises they made to workers before the election, and UAW president Shawn Fain is having none of it.
