😭 I missed yesterday’s Wonder Woman post. So, I’ll be honoring two amazing women today!

First up is Christa Shavers!! Not only is she my Soulmate of 24 years, she is my as well!!

I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting my FIRST Canva class tomorrow for ’s students!

Tell me about a time you messed up and how you handled it?!

Because I definitely messed up….well Google did! Lol but I’m still holding myself accountable because I should have PLANNED better for the unexpected!!

I want to give a big thank you to Tranquil Days for being so gracious and understanding about the whole situation and working with me to get everything fixed and ready to go!!

When you’re open and honest with your clients, they’ll be more willing to be understanding and work with you!

Plan ahead people and always have a Plan B or C! It never hurts to be overly prepared!

Hey you!! Yes, you! I’m calling you out!

You’re still trying to run your business alone and haven’t added a VA to your team?!

Look, I understand that it’s stressful and even scary to add another member to your team.

But you know what’s even more stressful, scary, and just unacceptable?

1. Losing qualified leads because you didn’t have the time to respond.

2. Missing out on the opportunity for engagement that leads to collaborations, sales, and a loyal following because you didn’t have time.

3. Not being able to plan and post your content consistently and strategically because, you guessed it, you didn’t have time!

4. Forgetting to schedule or forgetting about scheduled discovery calls, meetings, or other networking events because you’re overwhelmed.

5. Having client documents and invoices everywhere because you didn’t have time to start or maintain your digital space organization.

Why do we make things harder than they need to be? How can we make sure that we aren’t failing before we launch?!

I can tell you!!

We need to always:

1. Be consistent with showing up and implementing the right strategies. It is clear and apparent when something has been done without proper planning and organization. You want to build credibility and trustworthiness.

2. Engage with your audience!! This is a crucial step! You should be spending at least 15-30 minutes engaging with your audience before posting and again after posting.

3. Follow up every post with a call to action. You are the leader. You have to guide your followers and tell them exactly what you want from them!

4. Believe in yourself and dive in head first! If you don’t believe in yourself or your brand, why should we?

Outside of reclaiming my time and not wanting to worry about would I have a job when I woke up in the morning, my true reason was Maui!

He required so much time and attention even after boarding and training. I went back and forth on this, but ultimately, I couldn’t give up this beautiful soul.

He needs me, but it’s really me who needs my little Demigod! 💙

Boundaries are healthy! Boundaries are normal! Boundaries are essential!

Stop letting people tell you how to run your life or your business. You are allowed to:

1. Say no
2. Set your hours and stick to them
3. Take breaks
4. Take vacations
5. Choose your clients
6. Delete/block people and comments
7. Set your prices and stick to them
8. Offer some services and not others
9. Stick with your niche
10. Offer freebies or choose not to

You became a business owner so that, over time, you could be in full control of your life and lifestyle. Offering excellent customer service can be done in conjunction with maintaining the boundaries you’ve set!

It’s a learning experience and it won’t be easy in the beginning, but you won’t regret it and you’ll have more peace because of it!

Welcome to my cozy cocoon of creativity! This is where all the magic happens and where I created my butterfly effect!

Part of being successful was making sure I set aside a designated spot for work and nothing else. Things don't work out so well for me when I work and play in the same spot. Focus becomes almost nonexistent. Designating a spot for work also made it easy for me to keep up with all of my essential tools for success. No more leaving items where they don't belong because I worked wherever I was at the time.

Here are a few tips I found helpful when getting started.

✨ Pick a spot that offers good natural lighting. This helped with energy levels and mood and helped me save on my energy bill.
✨ Pick a spot with minimal distractions.
✨ Make sure the room temperature is comfortable for you.
✨ Make the space as bold or as simple as you want! Creating a space with a calm aesthetic similar to my brand keeps me motivated.
