This was another great year and I really want to thank for supporting me for this race.
I will be sharing a lot of my favorite chocolate items that I get from them this week. They are all filled with protein and help curb my cravings when I am tempted to make bad choices.

I learned so much over the last year and a half when I decided to distance myself from people.
It was the wake-up call I really needed, and I'm thankful for all this time to reflect.
I learned that the majority of the people in my life were just using me in one way or another. Whether it was for me to drive all the time to events or for me to always pay, I was being taken advantage of.
I was always trying to help others, and they certainly took advantage.
I was so deep into trying to please others, and when you combine that with alcohol, it's a recipe for disaster.
I have stories that would make your skin crawl, and it took years for me to wake the f #$k up.
It's amazing how many just disappeared when they saw how strong I was and turned my life around.
The saddest part of all this is that I learned that I didn't have very many "real friends." You know, the ones that actually call and check on you, the ones that support you, and the ones that care about your well-being.
My biggest regret is not taking time for the ones who did care.
I don't think I can ever date again, I mean, for real. I have no desire for it and want to focus on me.
This is why I am often alone at social events. My trust is broken beyond repair.
2024 is all about focusing on me, my true friends, and family. โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ

I love mixing up my workouts with everything from weight training and running to pilates and hot yoga.

A little over a year ago, I made a decision to change my lifestyle. It's the best thing I have ever done for myself, but it hasn't always been easy.
When you choose dedication and discipline, you have to say no to a lot of things that don't align with your lifestyle.
The minute I decided to stop drinking and to stop being around those who do not inspire or support me, my life got really quiet.
My phone stopped ringing, the invites stopped, and my life was really changing.
I learned who my real friends are, you know, the ones that actually call and check on me, the ones that truly support me, and the ones who want me to succeed.
It's been a real eye opener, and I would not have it any other way.
Like the saying goes, the trash takes itself out. ๐
My point of all this is that your people will find you and you should not be afraid to do what's best for you. ๐
Be more of you, and less of them. ๐

Training this week will be a bit different as I get ready for and that incredible half-marathon I will be doing on Sunday.
I love coming to before a long run so I can enjoy the benefits of infrared heat absorption.
While enjoying a 30 minute Isometric workout, I can feel the toxins being removed from my body.
This race is so important to me, and I am in the best shape I have ever been in prior to a half marathon.

This weekend was my 14 month anniversary of being alcohol free. Hands down, the best decision I have ever made. With that being said, Iโve had several people reach out and ask how I did it. Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for so many things, and one of them is the ability to get out and run. I fell in love with running later in life, but better late than never! One of the most important things we have is our health. I never take this for granted, and I dedicate most of my life to eating healthy and exercising regularly. You don't have to ask me twice to run a half marathon. While my first FULL marathon is less than 4 months away, I'm having fun with my training and increasing my elevation and speed for indoor training. Next up is the half @stpeterunfestfl. Today was 15-5-30 with added movement to snatch that waist. I saw a video clip of someone doing this movement against a wall, so I added it to my routine. Game changer! I can't wait to run the half at @stpeterunfestfl next month.
