What an encouraging way to start the week 🌼🌼🌼

“Hi Ginny and Paula, Only a couple of weeks ago I 'accidentally' tuned in at BloomTV on Family 7 (Netherlands in Dutch). I knew instantly it was meant to be. It is such a relief to listen to you and your guests. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I had my share of life lessons, but I never lost faith. Although I wondered then why these things happend to me. I walk with God and believe that what happened to me made me stronger. And hopefully a better person. The reason I am writing is to tell you that you inspired me to finally do what I am 'told' to do for years. For a long time I would find excuses not to act, but now I started a inspirational group in my house to empower others. I believe that zapping to BloomTV was another sign that it was time for me to help others become ex-victims. Find their inner strength and be the best person they can be. Recovery takes a village. Pastors, counselors, in-patient programs and home groups. AACC is a place we can learn and connect and share valuable knowledge and resources. We love helping the helpers.

We are excited to announce Bloom's new Chairman of the Board is David J. White. David is an entrepreneur, publisher, and media missionary. He has worked closely with us over the last four years. God has prepared him to carry out our mission to bring hope to those coming out of abuse and pain.

David J. White is the founder and publisher of the WhiteFire Publishing Group, including WhiteFire Publishing, WhiteSpark, Ashberry Lane, and Chrism Press. He's always been a lover of books and stories. This has also recently included working with Bloom in the Dark as technical director with an eye toward creating movies and television.

He and his family make their home in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, where he can frequently be found philosophizing about the power of stories, both in books and on screen, to change the world.

To all of you who are alone, hurting, sad, or angry as you see all the beautiful pictures of families, fun, and gifts:

You are loved. By the Creator of the universe. He died for us. To give us abundant life. This doesn't magically erase our pain or loneliness or disappointment, but it can give us hope.

Hope that Christ can make Himself real to us if we just ask Him to. Hope that we can find peace, joy, and love.

Peace despite the nightmare and chaos.

Joy despite our deepest hurts and disappointments.

Love despite rejection and loss.

As we close out this year, join me in using the fertilizer of our pasts, to bloom in our futures! 🌺🌹🌼🌸🌻🌺

We planned the FriendsGiving zoom open house for one hour but it went for an hour and 20 minutes with some really great sharing.
A number of people had lost someone close to them to Covid and others shared stories of reconciliation with family members that haven’t talk to each other in 27 years spoke this morning. One of our guests on as a worship leader and she shared a beautiful song and we had a time of prayer requests and praying. God was glorified!
