Ava Cantrell currently stars as the titular lead character in the revenge-horror film ABIGAIL, now available on VOD. Having successfully worked in Hollywood since the age of 7, Cantrell first made name for herself on Nickelodeon’s hit series “The Haunted Hathaways” before working on such acclaimed series as CBS’ “Young Sheldon” opposite Jason Alexander, and most recently co-starring in Warner Bros/New Line Cinema's horror feature LIGHTS OUT.

ABIGAIL is set in 1976 and follows troubled teen ‘Abigail’ (Cantrell) who befriends her bullied neighbor and helps him fight back. As she takes him under her wing, her obsession with seeking revenge on his tormentors becomes deadly, and the secrets of her past begin to surface. Directed by indie producer / filmmaker Melissa Vitello and written by Gunner Garrett, the film comes from Dark Star Pictures and premiered on VOD on December 5th.

San Diego born-and-raised; Cantrell most recently co-starred as supernatural antagonist teen ‘Diana’ in Warner Bros/New Line Cinema's horror feature LIGHTS OUT. She also stars in the Stan Lee recommended indie sci-fi feature film ONE UNDER THE SUN where she won ‘Best Leading Young Actress’ at the Young Entertainer Awards. She is best known for her recurring role on Nickelodeon's comedy “The Haunted Hathaways” and she also recurs on hit series "Young Sheldon" working with some of the most talented comedic actresses and actors in the business. In 2015, Cantrell costarred in the NBC pilot “Not Safe for Work” working with comedy legends Fred Willard (BEST IN SHOW, ANCHORMAN) and Cheri Oteri (SNL) as well as the web series “Cam Girls” from producer David Slack (“Person of Interest”, “Magnum P.I.”).

What if the past you remember didn’t really happen?
That’s the simple premise of filmmaker Richard Bakewell’s character-driven, science fiction drama, ROSWELL DELIRIUM, which centers around a young woman who survives nuclear disaster and alien encounters, only to slowly discover that the events she remembers are distorted by her traumatic experiences. The result is a powerful and compelling blend of genres, set against the backdrop of an alternate history of the 1980s.

In “Roswell Delirium” (written, directed, and produced by Bakewell), we witness some of the key events in the life of the young heroine, Mayday “Firefly” Malone (winningly played by Kylee Levien as teenaged Mayday, and Ashton Solecki as the grown-up version). Living in New Mexico in the 1980s, with her emotionally distant father employed by NASA and not always home, Mayday is obsessed with ham radio and satellite communications. But in 1986, the US and USSR devolve into nuclear war: rural areas are unscathed but the resulting years of radiation poisoning mean a new existence where sudden illness, death, and decay become a way of life. Moving between an older, radiation-sick Firefly as she puts her belief into the healing powers of the “Space Rock” at Area 51, and the younger Mayday as the events of the world spin out of control, the film sees the events of this alt-history through the eyes of a smart, determined young woman who slowly comes to realize that all is not as she remembers.

With a supporting cast that includes Anthony Michael Hall, Lisa Whelchel, Dee Wallace, Sam Jones, and Reginald VelJohnson, the film evokes it’s alternate-1980s setting with loving precision and eye for detail.

Krys can currently be seen in the 4th season of FOR ALL MANKIND (which premiered last Sunday to rave reviews) playing Danielle Poole, a Nasa engineer and the agency’s first African American astronaut. The show takes place in an alternate history where the Soviet Union beats the United States to the moon and the space race continues for decades with no end in sight.

Hollywood’s newest leading lady, animal activist, producer and actress Chantelle Albers (The 6th Friend), stars opposite Cam Gigandet (Twilight) and Hannah James (Starz's "Outlander") in the Lionsgate western film TWO SINNERS AND A MULE. A triangle love story centered around two female prostitutes.

In the film TWO SINNERS AND A MULE directed by rodeo champ turned filmmaker Raliegh Wilson, free-spirited Alice (Chantelle Albers) and Nora (Hannah James) set out for Virginia City to pursue their dream of opening a restaurant after being kicked out of a small Western town for sinful behavior. Out on the prairie, they come across an injured bounty hunter named Elden (Cam Gigandet, Twilight). Hoping to share in the reward, they nurse Elden back to health and help him stalk his prey, Grimes (Cord Newman). But as Nora and Alice both develop feelings for Elden, no one notices that Grimes is now on their tail, and the hunters become the hunted.

Chantelle produced and starred in the popular female horror film, The 6th Friend, streaming on Amazon, Tubi, and Movie Central. The film had a theatrical release with Cinemark Theatre, and also went on to win numerous Best Feature, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress awards. She has worked with members of The Actors Studio on the historical drama, Their Finest Hour, where she played Brit Pamela Churchill, and brought Churchill's heartache of seductive scandals to life.

Jaime Andrews recently released her deeply personal memoir, The Brink: A Memoir, which chronicles sensitive topics from her troubled adolescence through humor. The book details her harrowing experiences with depression, drugs, and institutionalization. Written over 20 years ago when Andrews first moved to Los Angeles, she hopes readers can learn from her mistakes and use lessons from the book to turn their lives around for the better.

Frank Monteleone boasts a remarkable 17-year journey as a creative producer. His production career took root in Off-Broadway theater, and in 2005, he founded Full Armor Films, a dynamic development and production company based in New Orleans. Full Armor Films has provided production services to esteemed clients like ESPN, Geffen Records, and L'Oréal, along with post-production services for industry giants like Warner Bros. and Relativity Media. Frank has elevated Full Armor Films into a burgeoning development hub dedicated to film and television.

Presently, Frank is executive producing the films "Barron’s Cove,” starring Brittany Snow and Garrett Hedlund, "Fog of War," starring Mira Sorvino and John Cusack, and is in production for one of the only Louisiana-based independent films to obtain a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement during the strike titled, "Average Joe." Pre-production began July 2023, and principal photography begins October 2, 2023.

Frank is a family member and partial co-owner of the legendary luxury Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Combining his love for both the hotel and filmmaking, Full Armor Films is currently in development for a project surrounding the hotel.

Frank’s notable acting credits include the Warner Bros. feature film "Focus," where he shared the screen with Will Smith, the Marvel series "Cloak & Dagger," and the compelling legal drama "Bull" on CBS. His versatility is evident in a spectrum of roles, from the brooding drama of "The Secrets We Keep" to the intense "Lonewolf: Manhunt" on CBS, as well as a recurring role on OWN's highly acclaimed "Queen Sugar." Today on Too Opinionated, comedian & scam hunter Ryan Kelly comes to visit!

As someone who can be described as a modern-day Sherlock Holmes by day and a gut-busting comedian by night, Ryan has grown a massive social media following thanks to his satirical comedy, good-natured desire to help followers get their money back after falling victim to internet scammers, and an incredibly interesting life.

So how did this online crime-fighting comedian first become a legendary scambuster? Ryan had been the victim of online scamming and lost $712.50, and as a full-time comedian with a master’s degree…he had a lot of free time on his hands. By the end of that same day, Ryan had gathered the scammer’s information and reported them to his local FBI office. He posted the story online and was overwhelmed by the enormous number of comments from people who had been scammed similarly. In the end, Ryan got his money back and started to post online more about hunting scammers, empathizing with followers who have also fallen victim to being scammed, and how to prevent being taken advantage of online.

Ryan is gifted with a photographic memory and graduated high school early at just 15 years old. After graduating college and then earning his master’s degree in Homeland Security, Ryan moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy and stand-up full-time.

Award-winning sibling filmmakers Laurel and Brendan Brady (aka The Irish Twins) are set to captivate audiences with their latest film, CHRONIC, a humorous introspection of life post-brain injury. The film will make its highly anticipated world premiere in January 2024 on YouTube.

CHRONIC follows Frankie, played by Nadine Bhabha (Letterkenny), who struggles to accept the harsh reality of a recent brain injury. Her denial persists until she reluctantly attends a disastrous birthday party thrown by her inconsiderate best friend. This event becomes a wake-up call, prompting her to re-evaluate her friendships and her approach to life."

“I wrote Chronic to explore the hellish and (at times) darkly humorous experience of getting a brain injury from a work-related injury back in 2019,” said Laurel Brady. “What was diagnosed as a ‘mild concussion,’ which was probably going to heal in a couple of days or weeks,’ turned into six months on bed rest, chronic headaches and pain, going on social assistance because I wasn't able to work, and trying to explain over and over again to kind but clueless loved ones/colleagues that despite how casually concussions are portrayed in TV and Film, it's actually a brain injury that can be incredibly debilitating and life-altering. I wanted to be as specific and raw with Frankie's experience to allow folks living with a disability (and those without) to empathize with her, mimic the well-meaning but sometimes aggravating platitudes or foot-in-mouth foolery people say to those who are ill or living with a disability, but I also wanted it to be funny and entertaining and high energy. Teaming up with Brendan was the obvious choice. He's talented, hilarious, and has his own experience with chronic pain.”

Steven is a South African actor best known for his role as Mihawk in the Netflix live action adaption of One Piece - the best-selling manga series in history.

Having completed a Bachelor in Live Performance from AFDA, as well as training with several local and international coaches, Steven has appeared in a number of theatre and film productions including, Barefoot in the Park, The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Day We Didn't Meet, and SAFTA award-winning film, From a House on Willow Street.

Making his television debut in the 2010 Amstel Class Act competition, placing 7th in South Africa, Steven has appeared in numerous commercials and is a regular on television screens worldwide, having played characters in local soap operas like Tempi Pushas; and international roles in Strike Back, Syfy's Vagrant Queen, and M-Net's Inconceivable.

Today on Too Opinionated we talk with director Tommy Stovall and producer Marc Sterling about their new film Condition of Return.

The drama, directed by Tommy Stovall from a script by John Spare, stars AnnaLynne McCord (68 Kill, 90210), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, God's Not Dead), Natasha Henstridge (Species, Diggstown), and James Russo (Django Unchained, Not a Stranger).

At the heart of Condition of Return is a question: what happens if you get what you wished for? As Eve explores the answer, she encounters supernatural elements that are grounded in realism. The Devil, with whom Eve makes a deal to reclaim her life, is disguised as an actual person, as is God. The supernatural is implied, allowing viewers to find their own meaning and answers to the film's questions.

Much of the enthusiastic reception to Condition of Return at the 2023 Sedona International Film Festival centered on the work of McCord and Cain, who plays psychoanalyst Dr. Donald Thomas. In a police station breakroom, Dr. Thomas interviews Eve, trying to determine her fitness to stand trial. Each manipulates the other into revealing their secrets, scenes that were praised for their tension and subtlety.

Reed on electric guitar, Roanoke seamlessly blend a 70s/80s aesthetic with modern sensibility by delving into a mystic rock core. For 8 years, these elements have persisted in their music, evolving as the band has risen through the ranks of the independent rock scene. Mysticism is a primary component to the band’s foundation and not only in their lyrical themes - the band’s live shows bring their spirituality and mysticism all to fruition. Roanoke has grown into a road-tested outfit, retaining an affinity for raising energy and rich vocal harmony.
