Happy Turkey to you and yours!

Today, I hope you will take some time to consider the friends and family you hold dear. But should there be a line between friends and family? Does true friendship not inherently constitute familial bonds? Whether we are conscious of it or not, these are questions most of us ponder on our day of thanks because the substance of our lives is derived from the connections we create and break with each other.

And so, I ask that we be thankful for the brothers and sisters - mothers and fathers - sons and daughters of our lives, whether by blood or not and never forget that our very legacies are substantiated by these bonds. I speak for the entire Icy Cold crew when I say that we are proud to see each other as family and very thankful to be a part of, not only each other's lives, but our community as a whole!

These repeated shootings as of late are disconcerting and shameful. Jonesboro, as well as the entire Northeast region of Arkansas, is better than this. We are better than this. It's understandable that with city growth comes a higher crime rate, but not like this. It doesn't need to be this way.

Vision One Publishing is live as of last week! We will be publishing not only music but also digital print for now, and in the future, plan on publishing many types of media across the entertainment industry... and so, our final logo is ready to debut!

It was designed in collaboration by Woodrow Vowell Crawford and Justin Blasdel and will represent Vision One Publishing on all future publications! All publications, for the time being, will be sold on Amazon. Thanks for your continued support!

How many more families need to feel the pain of losing a loved one because of senseless gun violence? How many more mothers and fathers need to bury their sons and daughters? How many more children need to stand by as their parents are lowered into the cold ground? Laws are made to protect the people, and this is no different! If you are caught outside your home and property with a firearm and without a license to carry fi****ms, there should be dire consequences - jail-time and fines, at the very least!

We just lost a good man to these senseless crimes... but it doesn't need to happen again. It can and should be stopped!

Vision One Publishing is an LLC that will primarily deal in music and digital print publications but will be opening to several other types of media publishing in the near future! Travis Barker recently picked up Avril Lavigne on his record label DTA Records. We can all look forward to another single from the singer/songwriter in the near future! Barker began DTA in 2019 with the debut of Rick Ross and Lil Wayne's 'Gimme Brain.' He then released 'Dogs--t,' featuring two up-and-coming emcees, Jasiah and Nascar Aloe.

Avril Lavigne will release a new single, titled "Bite Me," on Nov. 10, she announced on social media Friday. She signed with Travis Barker's DTA Records earlier this week.

Tonight, we shine the spotlight on the CEO and president of Icy Cold Records! Garrick Jackson is the man with the plan! Although Garrick formally started ICR this year when he registered the LLC, he and his cousin, Joe Nathan, came up with the idea over two decades ago. After his cousin passed away a couple years later, he carried their dream to fruition. We hope you'll read more about both Garrick and the history of our company!
