I am sorry I haven't been at the farmers markets or craft shows lately, with covid spiking up so much I just try to avoid crowds, I work full time with elderly and cant risk carrying anything to them! Thank you everyone who came out to the Fairgrounds in West Plains to the Christmas craft show, I enjoyed meeting alot of new faces and catching up with alot of you ...

Then over at Snider's BBQ I have been invited to sett up with Raven Wolfe Forge & Papi's Imperfections sure to have some fantastic demonstrations for us all so come on out and check it out..

Simply Shirl's will be bringing 3 new soaps to the West Plains Area Farmers Market tomorrow, Oats & Pine tar a hand crafted soap, some of you have been patiently waiting on for your skin issues to try, I am supper excited to offer this new line to you guys! It is finally cured so come on out and get your bar tomorrow 9-1!! Mad about Mango and Vanilla Midnight are my other 2, both are Goats milk soaps. I hope to see you tomorrow!! If you are unable to however I am happy to meet up sometime during the week just message me to make arrangements!
Lavender Rosemary soap is wonderful once cured but man does it smell horiible when you first whip it up, ( which is why I only do it every few months) so the basement is going to be foul smelling for a few days....
I also changed up this recipe a lil this time, I used tallow instead of lard and Beet root for a colorant , it looks brownish right now , hoping it turns to the lavender I intended with heat, it should , if not we just have a brown soap..
We are set up under the pavilion until 1pm today at the West Plains Area Farmers Market come on down and stock back up on your favorite soap and try something new.. also grab a lip balm for those dry lips!

Tumeric, Local Raw Honey (Paul C. Of course) Finely ground oats, Nutmeg, Cinnamon and fragrant oils
