In 2010 Dj Speng of Calico Mix Machine, LLC entered the production arena with it's first release "Who Dem". A song by Edge Michael (Nephew of Peter Tosh - International Reggae Artist of Bob Marley and The Wailers). The following year he then released another single with Lisa Hype (formally of Vybz Kartel Gaza Camp) and also featuring
Edge Michael. The single is titled "Ramp Ruff". This track brought him to the attention of many local artists and by the year 2012, he was producing tracks for many artists based in the
Tri-State and all the way across the US and Jamaica. Hookie Party Riddim was released in 2012, this was a compilation album featuring new artists from across the Tri-State. For some of these
artists, this was the 1st time releasing a song that was available sale online. This was followed by the release of Pum Pum Picture (Good Good Picture) - by Semi Matic, also on the Hookie Party Riddim. The song had tremendous success on You Tube as the views soared pass the 100,000 mark! Dj Speng also released an album for Nurain, a Dance hall/Gospel entertainer. This was his 1st album which is now (after 2 yrs) starting to get a lot of airplay. Dj Speng and Calico Mix Machine, LLC, have also produced songs with Beenie Man the King of the Dance hall, Ginjah who became popular with the single "Never Lost My Way", Dwayno "Don A Road", Milton Samms who won Amateur Night At The Apollo to name as few. He also has two singles available online where he is the actual vocalist, "Just Imagine and Party Hawd"! Other Production Credits Include:

for sound clashes which he often participates. He have done sessions with Spragga Benz, Frisko Kid, Frankie Paul, Bunny General, Little Twitch, Bunny Rugs of Third World (RIP), Bunny General and the list goes on and on! Dj Speng also won the Juggling to Kill Sounclash held Upstate New York in 2013. He can also be accredited for being an avid graphic designer, skilled both in print and web designs. Dj Speng is usually the one who designs
the artwork for his artists promotion and also for many promoters and producers in the NYC area.
