Please help me in welcoming the newest member to our team at Shape Notes as our new co-editor, Mr Andrew Brunet. I'm very excited about this new season for Shape Notes. Andrew brings a wealth of writing experience as well as fresh new ideas to the publication. As we spoke today about the future of shape note and things to come in the publication, I found a new excitement for our news letter. We will still have many great articles from our staff writers, Sandra Smith, Amy Oxenrider, Stephanie Reynaud, Brenda Denny, and myself, Scott Washam. Alabama Quartet Convention

Any takers?

The 2017 ALQC Golf Classic will be held July 28 at 8 AM. Anyone interested in playing, please let me know asap. The entry fee is $50. This will include catered 'hot' lunch, golf cart, range balls, and 18 holes at Spring Hill Golf Course. There will be prizes and trophies. This is always a favorite event of the attendees who play. This is open to the public. It's a 4 man best ball tournament!

Y'all, I know I said that the Shape Notes VOL2 would be out soon and I promise it is. It was sent last night to the final editing staff. We should be able to release it by Thursday or Friday. It's really good. I can't wait for you all to have a copy.
