Flerfs like to say say the Earth is not rotating and is flat.
Then riddle me this, all you conspiracy jokes out there.
Why do rivers curve?
If it was a flat disc, wouldn't the water just flow in straight path?
It is due to Coriolis Effect and geostrophic forces due to the Earth rotation.

Imagine being Eratosthenes. You're able to calculate the curcumference of the earth using crude tools 2000 YEARS AGO.

Now imagine it's the year 2024, and some incels with access to YouTube think they're smarter than you are.

English physicist James Chadwick won the Nobel Prize in Physics (1935) for discovering the neutron. He studied at Cambridge and Berlin, then worked with Rutherford at the Cavendish Laboratory, researching atomic structure. He studied alpha particle scattering and nuclear disintegration. Chadwick discovered the neutron by bombarding beryllium with alpha particles, earning him the Nobel Prize. In 1932, he named the neutron in a Nature article. He led the UK's atomic bomb work in WW II and was knighted in 1945.
