The End...a couple of my favorite words to write.

It has been two years since I have written those words to complete a story. But, I am highly proud of myself for finishing this really silly holiday horror short story.

Here is the cover for my first horror novel, Sundown. Coming Spring of 2024.

Felicia Martinez went missing on July 30, 2021.

Attempts at filing a Missing Person's report failed until August 15, 2021. Even after explaining that Felicia has Cerebral Palsy and qualifies her as physically disabled and makes her a vulnerable person for abuse or violence were attempts to get a report started denied.

Felicia was born with Cerebral Palsy, which affects the following in her: difficulty walking, difficulty with bodily movements, muscle rigidity, permanent shortening of muscle, problems with coordination, stiff muscles, overactive reflexes, involuntary movements, muscle weakness, muscle spasms, learning disability, speech delay, speech disorder, minor hearing loss, leaking of urine, spastic gait, and difficulty raising her feet.

As of September 21, 2021 Felicia does NOT appear in the Colorado Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) Missing Person's list, and an entry in the National Missing and Unidentified Person's System (NAMUS) is still pending. Both agencies require approval from local authorities before getting involved.

AT&T confirmed to the family that there has been no activity on her cell phone since July 30, 2021. All phone calls to her number go straight to voicemail without ringing.

Felicia missed a scheduled physical appointment with the Social Security Administration, which puts her at risk of losing her SSI-D payments after having this as her primary source of income for 10+ years.

Felicia missed her daughter's first day of school, which is completely out of character. Her daughter has not heard from Felicia since July 29, 2021 and has never been out of contact for this long.

Felicia has been out of contact with her father since July 29, 2021, which is completely out of character. She often would visit her parent's house and still has personal belongings stored at the house. Her father would give her cash and lend her his credit card for gas money on a regular basis.

The assigned agency on her Missing Person's case has provided inconsistent and vague updates to the family, and has advised multiple family members that only active sightings would be followed up on.

Felicia's car was found on September 19, 2021 abandoned near 6th Ave & I25 in Denver. Based on the damage to the windows, ignition, and steering column the family was advised that the car would be impounded and the assigned agency would be contacted for next steps.

Felicia had recently befriended someone who goes by "Lucky Puppy" in the days before she went missing. Attempts at identifying this person have yielded no results.

Felicia has NO phone, NO money, and NO car. These items lead the family to believe that Felicia has not been safe and has been in danger. Felicia has been disabled since birth and has severe medical needs.

The family has NO leads, NO assistance from PD or government agencies that have been established to assist in Missing Person's cases.

Felicia's family and friends are asking for help in finding her, help in getting action taken by law enforcement to take her case seriously.
