Make your social media personal. Talk TO your customers, not at them. Make connections and nuture relationships. Don't just sell, sell, sell. Make lasting relationships and help each other grow.

Don't work towards having followers just to have followers. Instead connect with your tribe- those who will support you, who you support, and those who actually want to buy from you.
Otherwise what's the point?

Your business isn't for you. It's for your customers and they know what they want from you.
1. They want a personalized experience. Think back on purchases or businesses you've worked with- those ones that went above and beyond are never forgotten and you've probably recommended them to other people. Be that business for someone.
2. People buy goods and services that fix a problem they have. Whether it is a big or small problem, they're looking for a solution. Be that solution.
3. Have you ever asked to switch out an ingredient at a restaurant to only have that request ignored? There's a chance you haven't been back. Don't be afraid to really listen to your customers and clients. They may not be the only one with that request. When customers feel seen and heard, they'll tell the world how amazing your business is.
What would you add to this list?

Only you can keep yourself from burn out. Guard that fiercely.

Kate said this so off the cuff and it has stuck with me ever since. Don't let the fear of "what if..." or possible failure keep you from starting something new. Maybe it will be a huge success. Maybe it won't, but you'll still learn something from it and continue to grow!
You've got this! Through the ups and downs, you can make your dream happen.
