Roger Waters has problems at a concert: many people left because of his unexpected behavior.
Last Sunday, October 8, at the London Palladium, Waters intended to premiere his new version of The Dark Side of the Moon.
However, according to the Daily Mail, many of the attendees could not stand Waters' disrespect and after a harsh reaction from him, they opted to leave the venue.
In what was supposed to be just a musical show, the Daily Mail also reports that Roger Waters, 80, spent about an hour reading excerpts from his unpublished memoir Dark Side of the Moon: Memoirs of a Lanky Prick on his tablet, sitting at a desk in the middle of the stage.
The newspaper mentions that one of the stories was about a duck named Donald which he talked about for about 20 minutes.
He also wanted to pay tribute to Pink Floyd's original leader, Syd Barrett, but only said that "Barrett wrote a lot of songs and had an innocent air", which confused the audience.
In the confusion generated by Waters' inexplicable behavior, a frustrated audience began shouting at him, to which Waters responded with 'f**k off'.
Many of the spectators then left the venue.
In his defense, Roger Waters explained that at the beginning of the show, he allegedly informed the audience that the show would be divided into different parts. One (ultimately half of the show) was the narration stage.
Many of those who stayed, certify that the concert was great, given that Waters, premiered the song "The Bar", followed by a different interpretation of "Mother" from The Wall.
Afterwards, Roger Waters and his band performed The Dark Side of the Moon Redux in its entirety.
Waters is performing again in Brazil later this month, Let's See...
