Stop 🛑 the procrastination now! I tell you this if you are the precastinator don't be upset or jealous at the friend who is living in their purpose and willing to take the leap of faith!

4 ways to communicate without being defensive!

1. Identify triggers we all have them so know what gets you or your partner to that point.

2. Learn how to take criticism- we all struggle with this one but the only way to get to a root of any problem is to see your fault in the situation as well.

3. Take deep breaths and buy yourself some time. Know when to walk away sometimes heated arguments can get too far. Know when to say enough is enough.

4. Stop 🛑 Retaliating! Stop going blow. Take a step back and try to get to the root of the problem.

I vow to love myself and endlessly the way I love those nearest to my heart.

I promise to show compassion and practice patience with myself, the way I remind myself to do with others.

I promise to always stand up for myself. The way I encourage those around me to do so.

I vowed to never silence my voice or dim my light to make others comfortable. I will celebrate my accomplishments with the same joy I do for those around me.

I will show myself grave and forgive myself for the mistakes, I have made, and will make, just like I have done for others and also advised others to do for themselves.

I promise to love myself the same way I pride on loving those I love the most in this world. ❤

Jealousy, you know that taboo word we don’t like to discuss. Well you know at Mama’s we talk about the things no one wants to talk about. So let’s do it!

If a person is jealous, they may show it in a wide variety of ways. While some jealous behaviors are subtle, unnoticeable, or mild, strong feelings of jealousy can cause people to act out or harm others. Signs you may be experiencing jealousy include:

· Anger toward a person or situation that is interfering with something you care about.
· Resentment of a friend or partner when they can’t spend time with you.
· Difficulty feeling happy for a coworker when they receive something you wanted.
· Feelings of dislike toward a new person in a loved one’s life that are hard to explain. For example, a father might have feelings of hostility that stem from jealousy toward his daughter’s fiancé even if the partnership she’s chosen is a healthy one.
· Deep sadness or feelings of distance when thinking about a partner, friend, or loved one.


It is normal to feel some jealousy, but it can help to have support when working through strong feelings of jealousy, especially if these are rooted in deeper feelings related to self-esteem, trust, or control.

Self-awareness is key, no one is perfect but realizing these emotions and checking them at the door is important.

Dawn Staley is an American basketball Hall of Fame player and coach and Philly native and has so many accolades.

She is a bomb ass female coach, for the South Carolina Gamecocks, former WNBA player with teams such as the Charlotte Sting, and Houston Comets.

She and Aida Oshun Barnes are Breaking Glass Ceilings for Woman in Basketball check me out on IG Live on Sunday at 9 pm to see Why 🗣

Adia Barnes current head coach for NCAA playoff team Arizona Wildcats. She herself prior WNBA player from 1998-2010 she played on teams like the Sacramento Monarchs and the Seattle Storm.

She has a WNBA championship with the Seattle Storm! Talk about some bomb ass females.
