had a lovely meeting yesterday with the office of congresswoman Barbara Lee getting deep with them about four bills ( two are in progress and should pass next year, two coming up) around taxes, AI, music tourism, and royalties - this was MUSIC ADVOCACY DAY. I'd say it's looking good that these bills will all take effect. :-) thanks to Kev Choice for co-captaining and the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs for putting it all together - there were dozens of these meetings all across the USA. and thanks to Rhythmix Cultural Works for hosting! Great space in Alameda.

Bay Area act Cardboard People has announced that they will be releasing their brand new album, Tigress Lane , on October 25th, 2024. The album will feature collaborations with artists like Del The Funky Homosapien , Caitlin Cobb-Vialet , and Ellie Stokes . More music is set to be released in
