had a lovely meeting yesterday with the office of congresswoman Barbara Lee getting deep with them about four bills ( two are in progress and should pass next year, two coming up) around taxes, AI, music tourism, and royalties - this was MUSIC ADVOCACY DAY. I'd say it's looking good that these bills will all take effect. :-) thanks to Kev Choice for co-captaining and the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs for putting it all together - there were dozens of these meetings all across the USA. and thanks to Rhythmix Cultural Works for hosting! Great space in Alameda.
