A Beautiful Day for Family, Literacy, and Community!
On December 15, 2024, over 50 individuals—spanning diverse cultural backgrounds, faiths, and generations—gathered at the Islamic Center for Compassion for a memorable Family Literacy Event.
We were honored to host the incredible Sr. Aisha Gray Henry of , who captivated children and adults alike with her storytelling about Imam Al Ghazali and his timeless teachings. Her ability to engage young minds (and hearts!) for two full hours was nothing short of remarkable!
Every child left with a cherished book, and adults took home even more treasures, thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
